How the Enphase App works with our Solar Panels

My gateway keeps getting disconnected from Enlighten each time my internet goes out although it's connected to the WiFi and the cloud light is green. Any help with this is appreciated...

Hi there, thanks for watching! I noticed they were black with no information showing in the app. I logged into the system on my computer and actually saw the microinverter was not working - panels were working just fine. The microinverter was not sending information to the system.

@@remohor Nice! I'd say just keep an eye on it at first to make sure everything looks like it's working properly. Not sure if you live in a cold climate, but snow can make it look like the inverters are not working also. Once it warms back up, they usually work just fine. Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to do this! My system was commissioned today (11/16/22). It seems to be working well. My Array tab is blank. I can "see" all of the micro-inverters in Menu/System/Devices/Microinverters but not in the sweet detail you showed in the array view. How did your panels get added to that view?

That's awesome, you're going to love it! All my site/system details were already setup by my installer Next Energy Solar...not sure if that may have something to do with it. I looked through my app and don't see anything that would need to be checked so it was showing. I'd reach back out to your installer and see if they know why it's not showing up. Do you have information on what the different colors mean on the array - light blue, dark blue, black, etc.

Hi there…first, thanks for watching…the colors are based on the amount of energy the panel(s) produces. Black is none…darker is less and lighter is more. Hope that helps.

How much was the total cost for the whole system?

$51K, got the federal tax rebate of 26% for an additional $13K back. Total system cost of $38K. Thanks

@@yardii79 No battery backup…that was all solar panels. We’re looking at some other options to power the house if needed.

Where the information about your consumption? How many energy are you gathering from the power company.

Sorry, I don’t have the device that tracks our consumption. I only get a monthly statement from our energy company that shows that information. So far we’re still using less than what we’ve produced as I haven’t had an energy bill. Thanks!
