Question PV6 monitor LED status is bright green at 9pm on Long Island at night - it had no indicator during the day today. I called my installer today on this problem. What do you think is reversed inside the PV6?? This PV6 was installed on Jan12rh with 13 microinverter panels. Thank you in advance for your help.

This app is so confusing. Looking my app with the solar panels on it shows my home usage is 18.5 KW. When I turn the panels off the app shows my home usage is 0.6 KW. ??????

I have a question for you about my solar system it just got activated last week and I watch it every day and it’s really hot where I live and I noticed that the solar panels are not producing the 7.40 kw that it’s supposed to the highest I seen in a day is 6.0 kw is this normal?

Cost Savings Mode doesn't run during the weekend, rendering the battery useless. I have to default it to Self Supply or else the battery goes unused on the weekends. I called customer service and they said they're working on it, but they've been working on this for years now... This is just bad customer service after they've already locked people in. Ridiculous.

I just changed the wifi password. How can reconnect my system to the new wifi. On settings on app not showing anything with wifi connection. Called customer service and they weren't much help. Thanks

Just installed SunPower at my home in Nevada. The app and the desk top have nothing other than solar production only! So different from yours. Wanted to know how much power my home is using, getting from solar system and what I'm pulling from the grid or feeding the grid but there's none of that! Super sad considering the sizable investment I just put out. Thank you for your Vid.

Suzann you should contact your installer or call SunPower directly at 800-SunPower. There are special circumstances when its not possible to have consumption monitoring due to your homes electrical configuration but most of the time thats not the case. I hope this helps.

I just watched a video about what to do to get our solar to WiFi? I have no idea what this is to start of with and I do not have a smart phone. I have an old flip phone. If someone could do this for us that would be wonderful. I take care of my husband and I am recovering from a heart problem. We can not follow all the instructions on the video. Can someone please help solve this problem that is serious and needs to be taken care of. Our electric bill from National Grid is so high, It seems as though the solar panals are not working??? I hope you can help us.

This is a terrible app. It's pretty with some nice generic info but there's no way to monitor the health of your panels. If one panel or microinverter out of my 47 panels goes bad I'll probably never know it. Someone commented that SunPower got rid of individual panel monitoring because it cut down on service calls... of course it did! If you can't tell that you have a problem you don't call for service. That's a pretty sad statement about the integrity of the company. I have friends with solar, I've seen their apps -- I just got SunPower and fully expected to be able to monitor the individual panels but can't. Very disappointed and very dissatisfied. It's a critical feature of any solar system.

Hello, I also got Solar system from SunPower and I am not happy with their service. Local electric company gave permission to operate 4/24/2023 they just turn my system on today 6/8/2023 after 11 months battling with multiple technicians no show and hundreds of calls. My SunPower app had only 3 options: home, analyze and profile. After seeing this video I called installer and they add layout of my panels to system and another option as panels appeared on my app by doesn’t show grid info. Do you see grid info on yours?

SunPower Sucks! Their systems has underperformed for 9 years and they have done nothing. They don't even pay the underproduction payments to me. I am losing money everyday. I guess I need a good lawyer.

This seems pretty generic. Dont they have something to monitor the health of the system panel by panel?

@@Adi-S SunPower doesn’t allow individual panel monitoring. They took that away from the customer a few years ago. Helps cut down customer service calls. I have a video on my channel if you want to check it out

How did you get home usage to show in the app?

@@jshwht1 To get panel level data, each panel must have its own microinverter. The installer has to input the serial number of each panel so that you can monitor individual panels
