What if we stopped coming up with excuses and started doing something to solve the big problems around us?
Henrik Scheel asks students this question and brings them on a transformational journey where they adopt the entrepreneurial mindset and practice the skills to solve great challenges. Through StartupExperience, Henrik teaches students to build their creative confidence and learn to see opportunities where other people see problems.
Henrik began his career in Denmark where he founded two companies during his engineering studies. After having worked in a creative capacity for several international corporations he became increasingly passionate about solving social problems through entrepreneurship and has spent the last three years working in the field. He now lives in San Francisco but spends most of his time traveling to expand the program through partnerships with governments, NGOs, and corporate non-profits.

Hi Henrik. Nice inspirational video. I liked the talk except for limiting entrepreneurship on to young people. I’m 51. Does that mean that entrepreneurship is beyond me?
@ravenous0382

Never my friend, Entrepreneurship isnt limited by age rather it is limited by inaction. You are not 51 years old, rather you are 51 years young. With that bountiful experience of yours i bet you could use it into a wonderful Entrepreneurial journey. Best of luck mate, from a 20 years old Entrepreneur 🙂

Identifying problems is easy, but how do you even arrive at a solution? How does one go from 3:23 to 3:55? They never explain that.

Hi Chris, I'm sorry to hear you think that way. I guarantee you that my TEDx talk is not copied from another speaker, I put a long time into preparing it and it's all based on my personal experiences which I think you will realize if you watch the talk. As most other speakers I use quotes from some of the greatest entrepreneurs of our time but I don't take credit for any of those statements. - Henrik
