I honestly don't get the new trilogy at all. On one side, these Stormtroopers seem to be almost tragic figures; taken at birth or as children and trained and brainwashed throughout their entire lives. There are steps taken to humanize the new troopers in the trilogy, through Finn especially, but we're still expected to cheer whenever the Resistance blasts one of 'em, of whenever a ton of them die?

Is your favourite way to eat Ewok to first shoot them with a bow so as not to damage the meat. Then cleave their head off and then skin the fur before delicately removing the bones leaving you with just the meat. After which you then stick the meat onto a skewer and roast over an open flame for about four hours. Once done you can then marinate the meat in any source you like. Personally I skip this stage and just delicately slice thin prices of the meat and put it between pita bread to make a beautiful kebab.

Hey, GT. Do a video on palatine creating the empire to protect the galaxy from the Yuuzhan Vong. I know it's legends, but it was so cool when I first found out. It really puts a whole new perspective on things. Also, just noticed that the bowcaster in TFA is red when it should be green (literally, not just aesthetically. Colour does actually mean something, and tibanna refined plasma (which creates a green glow) has a much higher impact force than regular red plasma.)

Interestingly enough, the movie Soldier, with Kirt Russell, follows a similar thought process for raising soldiers from babies to adulthood as soldiers. It’s also, fun fact, supposed to be a spiritual spin-off/sort-of sequel for the original Blade Runner, as they take place in the same universe. So yeah, Blade Runner has a government that used child soldiers for about four decades. Good movie, and good Star Wars summation.

Bowcasters are ridiculously powerful, and according to the Revenge of the Sith Visual Dictionary, a true bowcaster is actually a slugthrower that sheaths the shells with plasma, while ligthsabers will go through anything that isn't Mandalorian Iron, Cortosis, Phrik Alloy, or a force field.
