The process to put the car into dyno mode is as follows. 1. Press the power/accessory/start button once. Do not start the vehicle. 2. Press the clutch and brake pedal to the floor holding them there. 3. From the neutral position shift into reverse and then back to neutral 6 times. 4. After you've shifted into reverse and back to neutral 6 times you'll see the ABS light flash and advancetrac as well as ABS will be turned off. 5. Start the car and run it on the dyno. Once the car is turned off and restarted it will go back to normal mode.

Bobo Clown except with that method you have to do it every time to reflash the vehicle during the tuning. The awd will also re-engage if the rear wheels go over 10mph and more that 10° of steering angle.

The Mitsubishi evo x has a similar AWD system. Has an LSD mechanical front differential, active center differential that can split torque between the front and rear wheels, and the rear differential is a torque vectoring differential that can send more power to either rear wheel. Mitsubishi calls it active yaw control system.

I was told that the RS was mostly fwd bias.. Based on the mode you are in (normal\sport\track\drift) what are the drive front\back wheel percentages?? As in back 60%, front 40% .. or front 60%, back 40% ... for each mode??

So I know this question im about to ask isn't about the video but I wanted to know if this RS has had head gasket issue....I keep reading that ppl are having issue with the head gasket leaking after time? badams0311 yea I been talking to a lot of RS owner and they have said the same thing....if I get one and the head gasket goes out I don't want to put a shit oem if its going to do it again....so i would want to go aftermarket head gasket if that make and sense?

Tony Aquiningoc the head gasket issue has been waaaay overblown. To the people it happens to, of course it sucks. But they are few compared to the actual number of flawless cars out there. I have 10K on my early model 2016. No leaking, no coolant loss, no white smoke. If you want the car, don't let the possibility of an issue hold you back.

'17 RS owner here, 10k miles and zero, I mean ZERO issues. 30 very vocal people out of 30,000 doesn't not mean "everyone's having head gasket problems". The car isn't the ultimate end all be all of cars, it has its flaws, but i can live with them. Its just a different take on a rally car. It's perfect for me, it might be perfect for you too.

I just dynoed my car in AWD and FWD on the same dyno (which apparently didn't care) and the measures were almost the same, the power and torque curves almost on top of each other, torque curve came in a few hundred rpm earlier in AWD that's all (I didn't get the advertised engine power btw, around 341hp on my stock car)

341 horse to the wheels?!!?!? to the ground?? that sounds almost impossible. the advertised 350HP was Crank horsepower, in reality they make like 295 ish to the wheels stock. ive seen a few dynoed at deadhook in person

rdu leaking is a known defect on early RS fyi and since I owned one too, some recent subaru STIs also had a leak at the rear

The idea is right..but your reason is wrong..if the dyno rollers were locked 100% zero slip f to r that is the same as on the road..and it is ok on the road..why dyno stuffs with the car is the rear spins faster that front ..ecu see it as slip in the rear and pulls power. It is due to belt slipping on the dyno from front to rear rollers...
