Manchester United is a financial powerhouse that the Glazers are dipping into for themselves and only spending about enough on the squad to keep the shares high in the stock market. If it wasn't for the over 1 billion the club has spent to pay off their debt to purchase the club, and pay them dividends... utd could've and would've had more top quality players and won a few more trophies. Van Gaal only got funded in the transfer market because of the embarrassment of not qualifying for European football at all under Moyes, the lost revenue and share price drop as a result. Watching this the day after reports the United Women's team manager resigned due to poor facilities, tells me, Glazers need to invest heck of a lot of money to just catch up to other clubs, and that's not even talking about player signings. So ticket prices have not gone up, the glazers have allowed the managers to be among the highest spending in world football but they're evil because they're somehow responsible for the managers being unable to do the job and signing the wrong players, i'm pretty sure that the Glazers weren't the ones who decided to sign Harry Maguire... just saying. Dumping blame on the Glazers is a waste of time they're like any other boss, of course they care about the money if you don't you end up like Barcelona... and why the hell is it somehow a boon to United to run a women's team at a loss?
