At my school, were in a bubble of 84, we have 3 rooms to prevent contamination, regular rigorous cleaning, compulsory masks, scheduled handwashing, reduced curriculum for subjects such as PE, no parents evenings etc etc, to me, that sounds a lot safer than somewhere like a pub where these groups of 6 can meet, where there are no masks, little social distancing, people are drunk and there are different sets of people all the time. In my school we've had something like 3 or 4 cases since September. It's not as bad as people are making it out to be and we deserve a fair chance at exams and an education, I agree primary schools shouldn't be open but when you're in an exam year it's a very different story

I know some of it is just luck, but it’s also the quick border restrictions when another state shows cases plus very strict borders, regardless of how the federal government keeps fucking it up(we have had several disease ships come into port after McGowan asked for a closed border, but our border controls thankfully have caught them all).

He explained how he cant access the internet and his calls are being declined or is told to book through the website. Companies need to get their shit together with all this booking bullshit. The woman speaking to him legit tried to guilt trip him, telling him that "Times are hard". He is at the age most at risk and this company is really telling him they have it hard???

But still, no one is asking the elephant in the room question, why are we having lockdowns, because the NHS can’t cope, but why? Simple years of under funding because of poor risk planing and thinking ahead by politicians and ALL those politicians present and passed need to be accountable

Yeah there was all that talk of underpayment for the NHS.. Then a month later the politicians had a pay rise and nobody said ANYTHING!!!?

That I don’t have a definitive answer too, I would say myself, many years, probably back to the 60’s, certainly the 70’s. Would I would say from fact is that whatever projects the British government have planed over the last 20 years, they have got their figures drastically wrong, let’s just look at one example HS1 - how much was that originally costed? Now look at it 3 or was it 4 times over budget at last count! and this is the same for many many government projects; in a nutshell ministers and politicians are not qualified project managers and have no idea how to lay out the foundations (project charter), plan, execute, control and monitor and end a project successfully.

No party in particular, as I said, all parties and all politicians, I believe all voted into power past and present should take blame and more importantly, and sadly, politicians are not held accountable or should I say held properly accountable. Let me give you an example, if an employee of an organisation does whatever to require being sacked (legitimate - not managed out) does this happen to a position? Are they then band from holding or standing again? They should be! Or when politicians spend tax payers money and get it wrong, what happens then? if a business person get a financial decision wrong, they may lose their business along with the various additional effects. What penalties does a politician pay when they waste tax payers money?

@@emilywhite8543 furthermore, pardon the texting, working off a mobile at the moment and I realise I have miss typed a few words, further to your question, I agree no one should be set up to fail, how do we over come this in industry? We train people - so maybe, their needs to be a CPD system for politicians? After all it works relatively well in business and industry
