Continue to RIP Peter Tosh, gone but definitely not forgotten.

Fearless, brave, kind, uncompromising, innovative, intelligent, and way before his time are just a few attributes of Peter , and and why I call Peter The Emperor of Reggae Music. My favourite who I remember how much my father and his friends sung Peter's praises through their personal experiences with him. ❤💛💚🖤

@ReggaeAppreciationSociety thanks and you're welcome. Peter Tosh just happens to be my favorite oldschool Reggae artist even more than Bob Marley and he's up there among my favorites too. Back in the late 1970s I remember hearing Tosh's "Legalize It" just before I started hearing Marley's music AND didn't know they had a group together til later. Both had great music together and solo. ✊🏿

I had the pleasure of watching a Peter Tosh concert in The Netherlands (“Pink Pop” Festival / 1979). Mick Jagger was present and was prepared to sing “Don’t Look Back” (a # 1 hit in The Netherlands) with him, but on the way to the stage he backed off when he saw cameras. I absolutely prefer the early version of this Temptations song by Peter Tosh & the Chorus (1966 / a Studio One production). Obviously, Bob Marley was not in Jamaica. But there exists nevertheless a single with this Peter Tosh version by “The Wailers” with Bob Marley as “writer” (instead of the real one: Smokey Robinson - co-writer). Stuff to deal with by the R.A.S. ?
