How the holidays at Universal became the worst event of this year

My main issue with Holidays is the fact that it is almost the same thing every year. Aside from the tribute store and the scavenger hunts, it is nearly the same thing every year. What makes Mari Gras and Halloween so great is the fact that they always switch things up. Like especially with the parade, it needs an update.

really liked this video. My mother passed away when I was 19 and Christmas has never been the same. I'm also single and no kids. So this video felt very relatable. I also go to Universal and Disney to get a taste of that holiday cheer as best I can. Being single makes most holidays more tough IMO. I've been going to HHN since 07. Mostly alone or with my best friend. PS really great camera work and editing here great job!

Former Disney Cast Member here. Worked Disney Attractions for 9 years. Guests would complain to me about getting tired of Disney. I would asked how many times have they visited in the past year. They would reply and I would tell them that they should visit every 5 years. But today you have Disney Adults and Universal Adults, Dollywood Adults and etc. They live in Parks. If parks would completely change things their prices would be higher than what they are now. Most people don’t know how expensive things are. Epic Universe is costing them.

2025 is going to be "Epic". I am sure that is where 100% of Senior management's attention is focused. Hopefully, after the Line of Credit is maxed out at Epic maybe...MAYBE...UO and IOA will get a refresh in 2026! I would even donate to see Fast & Furious get demolished!!!

I honestly believe universal should do way more for Christmas. I think a special lagoon show with Christmas trees in it would be very cool, kinda like how SeaWorld does it. And tbh, I actually think SeaWorld is the best park during the Christmas season.

Thank you for the history. So sorry your Christmases stopped so abruptly. What a difficult time for those who lost loved ones. I've done HHN a few times in the past, but I just moved to Orlando, and this is my first Christmas here. I have been feeling underwhelmed by the Christmas stuff at Universal (also at Disney). I figured I was just missing something, but I guess others feel the same. Seaworld has been killing it though lol

One of my biggest complaints about Universal’s Christmas offerings as weird as it sounds is the lack of a Santa meet and greet. I mean he appears at literally EVERY single theme and amusement park during the season, so why not Universal’s outside of the parade?

This made me think! The tribute stores while not bad were not my favorite this year. I’d say I really enjoyed that last room of Mardi Gras so I’d probably agree! If summer hadn’t stuck around so long I think I’d like it more. The hotel trees are SO nice. Loved the old family photos, those were awesome and sweet. I am so sorry for your grief, I owe you the biggest hug. lol @ the old yellow event staff shirts. I miss the old parade song SO much. The parade song now is 100% sleep worthy 😢 Not the major sweets joke 😂😂 Ps nice water bottle 10/10
