As an Astros fan who wasn't around to see any games in the Astrodome, seeing pictures, videos, and GameDay programs from those days gives me a great feeling of nostalgia. Seeing nothing being done with it now makes me sad when there's endless potential for what it could be other than the parking garage they're trying to turn it into.

I really hope they do find something productive to use it for one of these days, its too iconic to be left to rot like this

Movies like Brewster McCloud and the Bad News Bears part 2 did alot to help put the stadium in the minds of everyday people.

Astroworld was right across the street. We would drive from Austin to Houston for the weekend to see a game and then the next day go to Astroworld.
