No, because the world record is 106 Mph thrown by Aroldis Chapman in 2010. However, 100 Mph is pretty routine for MLB pitchers and it's not fun to get hit by one of those. That and somebody might throw a 110 eventually.

so, from asteroid belt to the edge of the system. if similar to our solar system, than the distance with the speed of light is several hours, not visible identifiable. sadly almost no chance to properly do such scale with sublight stuff.

to be fair, a sling that whipped a stone that was used for war could crack your skull inside your helmet, was even a clan that was well known for it and could almost be seen as a low tech sniper rifle. so you know...why not scale that up?
