Respectfully, the advice given by Wenzes, although exceptional is that of an ISFPs cognition as opposed to the INFJ. With respect to the likes of Clay Arnall, Frank James etc, respectfully, they are not cognitive INFJs either. Ni-Ti is the INFJs primary seat of the ego in a Jungian sense which is simply logical analysis acting at the behest of an experiential abstract Ni agenda. What Wenzes is elucidating here is much more akin to the ISFPs Fi-Ni convergence. Due to the proliferation of dubious online tests predicated on behaviour, as opposed to cognition and the behavioural stereotypes that constitute much of MBTI, unfortunately the vast majority of people are mistyped in the Jungian sense. I highly recommend checking out Cognitive Personality Theory for an Ni-Ti exposition (the creator is an INFJ) of all of the cognitive types. Many, many people do not believe that they can be a 'sensor' owing to the erroneous stereotypes associated with such types who have an 'S' in their type code when the reality is that we all sense and intuit, it's just contingent upon the codec to which its assigned 😊

I feel like INFJs need loyalty more than other types. If INFJs see that the world or their friends are disloyal, they will tap into their dark side and be aggressive, blunt, manipulative and harsh. Am I correct?

Also 1 yr later...for me, the shock & betrayal from their disloyalty put me into a very dark tailspin, like being 'blindsided' -I don't think I fell into harsh or blunt action -more opting immediately out to preserve & protect. Didn't like where my thoughts were going.

I'm not sure why this comment is here as it has nothing to do with what was expressed in the video. Maybe the OP is a follower (or was more) and was hoping to get attention? Nevertheless... To the OP and others that have been hurt by INFJ's 'disloyalty', I was honestly surprised by this comment because I find myself (INFJ-A) to be loyal to a fault. There could be two reason why an INFJ is suddenly not in your life. The most benign reason is that they simply needed some time away to process the last interaction that you've had and are simply to stuck in their own heads and haven't come back to you and reality. The worst case scenario, and what I gather from your responses, is that it sounds as though what ya'll have experienced is the INFJ's "Door Slam". It is usually what we do as a last resort to save our selves from further hurt. When we feel that the person we've given all our time, heart and compassion to doesn't seem to value us, continually hurt us, or when we realize that we're being manipulated and hurt in some way, we cut them out of our lives. As an INFJ who is also an Highly Sensitive Person, I feel things deeply. Because of this I remember most actions, emotions or the littlest things in a person's life and behavior as I try to get to know. It also helps me feel closer to them when I feel I can be just the kind of friend, support, lover, etc, that they (anyone really) deserve. However, there is a point when an INFJ will realize that that person has left several clues that they are not appreciative of that and leave the INFJ feeling used, devalued, broken and feeling like they're loosing themselves, their intergrity, their morals and their core values. When this happens, the INFJ can forsee, from previous clues in the patterns of behavior, that the end result would not be beneficial for either party and will then decide that they no longer want to be a part of it. They will cut you out and you're (highly) unlikely to ever get back whatever you've had unless you litterally become a different person. And even then, I imagine they would keep you at a safe distance. If this is the case, I'm sorry that you have felt this 'door slam' in your own lives. I have done a door slam to few a people in my life because I needed to in order to save my self, my mind and my heart from the hurt that my loyalty allowed them to think they were free to inflict upon me. 'Because we're family," "because we've known each other since we were kids," "Because..." The length of time an INFJ spends with you does not give anyone free liscence to hurt someone whenever they see fit or have a moment of weakness. If the INFJ is simply choosing to distance themselves but keep you around, they may be choosing a safe distance because they do care and are loyal, they just don't want to be hurt by you anymore. Having said that, knowing nothing of your circumstances I can only assume and hope that some of this sheds light on what had transpired. I sincerely hope that you're able to reflect on what had occured with objectivity, find some clarity, learn from it and move on. If it helps any, I found this video that may help you understand an INFJ's thinking process. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eXzbcqJvltmXqpI Edited: Also this video on what happens when an INFJ is pushed to their limits. kzbin.info/www/bejne/j5qqZKWCpbJnbNE Good luck to you all. ^-^

I get in these neurological loops that I’m aware of but seemed unmotivated to shake it off. I was feeling very bored with life. I vacationed in Guatemala for 2 weeks and was very active. Pulling suitcases up steep hills, walking everywhere there always seemed uphill, lol. And one walks a lot through the villages, & I rode a quad twice, all day & zip lined, swam in Lake Atitlan, climbed a volcano, etc. Upon my return home, my body felt strong, my muscles more defined and I could just run up stairs. What happened is I got out of my comfort zone, put myself in a place where I had to use my mind too, to dust off my mediocre Español, figure out all the things I didn’t know and immerse myself into the beauty of the country and people. I like when my body feels strong, makes me feel confident. So I’ve kept my activity level up, like I’m on vacation still; started a rope & rock climbing course, lifting weights again and currently thinking about what else I wanna do! Stepping out of my comfort zone is so key to living my particular epic INFJ life. TY Wenzes❣️

Have I been in a situation where I knew what to do and I still didn't do it ? Yes. I had gone to a mechanic conference a few years ago. There was a competition being held for top school bus inspector/mechanic for North Carolina Public Schools. I felt ready, and should have competed. I had just as much chance to win as anyone else. Yet, I held myself back & didn't compete because I thought that if I didn't win, I would have made a fool of myself. Well, never again. When I have an opportunity to compete again, I'm in, with the will to win.

I recently joined your channel and have been leaving some comments but I love digging back into your catalog of videos and seeing how you keep refining your message. I think with the fish analogy that you are trying to tell us to stop looking at other people's "normals" and see our own normal for what it is and decide if we like it or want to change it. If we want to change it then we need to see what we have accomplished already and be grateful for it and build on that even if slowly until that becomes the new normal for us. Much like a fish swimming from a small stream into a bigger pond is not even aware of the change because it is grateful and happy doing what it is doing. Well even if I don't have it quite right I feel inspired every time I watch one of your videos. Because you are an INFJ you know how to communicate the sense of possibility to us without overwhelming us. Thank you for that!

The motif of the "journey" of life has helped me a lot when I feel stuck. I've also learned enough about my own emotional response to know that even if it doesn't seem to be there at the moment, eventually, I can release the stuckness, and continue on. Taking FE & SE focused activities related to the project can be a big help.

Vision, excitement. ( Forget the norm, rat race ) Start going for small success stories. ( Look at what you have achieved ) 12:30 You focusing on what isn't working is perpetuating you to create a new normal that is focused on that negativity ( 95% ). Autopilot. Focus on the positive. ( 5% ) Do more things that give you that feeling. You cannot get there unless you start appreciating what you have already accomplished. There's always a way how you wouldn't have the motivation to be where you are right now. There are people who would love to be there. Then you have to get to a point where you start being proud of yourself. You have to start loving the process. You have to be aware of "I'm so grateful and I'm so proud of me and what I've already done". When you start doing this, you are creating from a place that is already positive. From a place of vision, you change your mindset. And with that, you start to attach positive emotions to the process. You're not stuck. You're already at this great place. And if you believe that you're not in a great place, then trust me. This is a mindset thing because there is a way to look at whatever you've accomplished as a positive thing. So many people wish they could be where you are. We have to get to that place, and continuously tell ourselves what we're proud of and what we take on. And it doesn't matter how much it is. It's about taking on little things that get our minds switched. There are things we have to feel in order to get into that new lifestyle in order to feel like that fish in water. And not as that fish in a small bowl, looking at the sea or lake, it's on us to make that happen. And we only get there if we look at our life and understand "I'm not stuck, I have already accomplished so much." And if you're not able to write down what you've accomplished, proud of, it's one more reason to look into it, because there's always a way how you could have been in the worst position. Definitely. And when you would look at that position you were in today and you would say, oh, I wish I was that that is what we have to get to. We have to turn our current standpoint into something that we're proud of, accomplished, and is ready to grow into the next level, you got what it takes. You just got to be proud of it. And you have to continuously teach this into ur mind. So it becomes your new normal. *Create that autopilot system.* Adding a little bit new in. Not to the point where u collapse. I'm just taking on a little bit more and I'm getting excited about it. I create a new mindset. And as an INFJ, I know I'm really good at this.

I didnt think i needed this video. And i wldnt hv thought i needed it years ago. But after talking to a friend who thinks im courageous and outgoing, i realize my past successes have come from being in some kind of partnership or social circle of outgoing people. You dont want to be a slug so you get motivated to keep up with others. But now, im not in a relationship and i dropped those groups--they didnt fit me well. So now i have to work so hard to motivate myself daily when there are no friends to share yr latest updates or other ppl to motivate you through there achievements. The only thing that keeps me pushing along is that i hv a coach specific to the industry im getting into. I told my friend to get a coach to help her to get "out there". I didnt think i need a coach but i realize now that bf i partnered up and met others who were making moves, i looked to ppl who didnt support my desires and efforts and so i didnt accomplish as much as i wld hv liked. Im glad fo understand this is an INFJ energy pattern. It makes sense now.

But yes, when I found myself saying “I love my life”, “I feel great by doing this” and when I see the positives changes I’ve done so far and feel grateful, that’s when I know I am in right path! And I want more! Hehe! But also I have to remember that not all days are going to be great, and that’s ok! That’s life! But if I know and make conscious all the accomplishments I’ve reached so far, I also know that that bad day is just that: a bad day! And it allows me to move forward and don’t get stuck!

I dont know about y'all but I think, as an INFJ, we need to boost up our Fi function in order to be successful. You see, we can be cold and unbothered by what people may say about us. But when we see something that we wanted to see in ourselves in others, that we are incapable of doing so, we can be so critical of ourselves. Thus, wenzes is right. Know yourself more and accept all your strength and weaknesses and grow from there as a starting point. Know your vision, know your process, know your system. Know that we have an exponential learning curve. Make that as a motivation, a light that you ought to follow and believe as you struggle to know yourself more. To all INFJs out there, fighting!

He is a grouch and has chased fish over the tank top and onto the ground one of which was Spot who survived that the first time. It's odd to find a fish on the ground still alive but it does happen. Anyway I thought Spot would be top fish in a tank with smaller fish but alas he jumped out again this time with poor result.

My ethos is be who you are , people in my company can let their hair down & relax ( this was even my career as a therapist ) So why if the infj loves others for who they are but they then judge the infj when they are themselves ?

two big things that have been getting me threw some issues is thinking about how little time it will take to do whatever it is and baby steps. lost 40 pounds (could be lack of eating too) im exercising and I'm attempting to making something of myself. the two minute rule is a lifesaver if there is basic mess around

I've done everything - pushed myself to the physical & mental limit - and my family get worse! I'm on my own and my health isn't great.. I've got money.. I still can't find any help! It's becoming so obvious to me the problem is I'm single. I've had to pay men stupid amounts of money to remove rubbish for me because my upper body is very weak. It's not because I can't get a man, trust me, it's because I won't. I was a serial monogamist who couldn't stand being single but at 40 I decided no more. I'm in Melbourne, Australia and things are going downhill fast. We are a very sexist (Western) country - more than the US and UK. The fastest growing homeless are single older women. I'm open to relationships with men but only if I want them not need them. It shouldn't come down to this anyway. We need a tribal/partnership culture not a dominator one.

Congrats on the 20K subs Wenzes!!! 🙂 I'm proud to have been an early sub (3-5K). You have helped me so much since I subbed and started watching your videos. I'm glad to see that you are reaching farther and helping even more INFJ's and other people like us. 👍🏼 I have definitely been in lots of situations where I knew what to do, and still didn't do it out of either fear, resentment, anger, or vindictiveness. I try not to be that way anymore. I try to just keep moving forward and being a good person, and keep being me, and stop worrying about things I can't change, or other people being idiots and allowing them to make me mad.

Se is not weak in the INFJ, in a Jungian sense, as the oppositional function it is inextricably linked to Ni on an axis and indeed fluid types can rotate on their axis. Indeed, the oppositional function can actually be the dominant strength of many cognitive types (CPT). I'm a cognitive ENFJ, professionally typed and indeed my Ti is my strongest function and most aspirational function which will be evident in my writing. What you're referring to here is the Se authority of an ISFP cognitive type; contrary to popular belief Se authorities can struggle to focus in on external reality especially when their Se-Te divergent pairing isn't well developed. I do not mean the above in a derogatory manner but more simply as an aid to help people ascertain their true type if they return to Jung's original work away from the MBTI behavioural stereotypes. Indeed you do offer amazing advice albeit to ISFPs and ESFPs to some degree. 'Living in a vision' is totally reminiscent of the ISFPs Fi-Ni holistic, intuitive feeling nature 😊. The INFJ does not actually perceive their vision as an intrinsic part of who they are; their visions are of a different quality: of an abstract logical nature that can be utilised via Fe-Se to the betterment of society; they are detached as opposed to attached. Oh and flow states are very indicative of an Se authority flow state although this can also be experienced by Si convergent users as well. It's also worth mentioning that you, to the betterment of people, you give a lot of concrete examples whereas INFJs can come off as overtly abstract and at times too perfuse to understand because of this (at least to unconscious Ni-Ti users). I actually think however you give some exceptional generic advice to all of us on the whole irrespective of cognitive type 😊. I actually really appreciate your Fi-Ni advice, "what we can create is what we already have," very wise words indeed.

Amazing information like always. Do you have a dedicated microphone/audio setup? Like a boom mic offscreen since I don't see a lavaliere? Some parts of the video came across super echoey and then it was normal again and then the pattern repeated. Thank you for the wise words. Love your channel.

If you're an INFJ it's not so much what you're doing but how you're doing it...what I mean is that you need surten things to not feel anxious and depressed. 1: Creativity...something that allows you to solve problems big or small...not doing the same thing over and over again 2: Freedom...you can't work 9 to 5...we need to be able to work sometimes in the middle of the night because that's when the world is quiet and we can tap into our Intuition. 3: You need to feel that what you're doing in some way benefits others 4: Independency...you can't live life depending on others...you need to feel that you're in control of your own life 5: Don't seek happiness seek peace of mind Hope that helps...because I can't tell you what to do it all depends on what you're good at...and don't say that you're not good at anything because you are...you just have to figure out what your strenght is ♥️

@@Sofia_333S Oooh come to think of...one thing that INFJs shouldn't do is to think "career"...because that word means "this is what you're going to do for the rest of you working life"...and that can really make an INFJ panic...why...because that means that you have to make the right decisions now so you don't regret it later and your INFJ-brain is going to try to foresee everything that might happen in the future...and after doing so you're already bored with that career and don't want it anymore...so what you should do is to think: What can I do now and as long as I find it interesting" Leave a door open so you can change your mind later...and don't have to predict the future

So…..if there is no witness to your life ( habits etc) you could certainly become a sloth a little more easily ( well people do that with no shame WITH a witness but im talking about sort of normal people). These are great ideas and perspectives…..way better than a nagging partner in life. I will say initially there is a push. Its kinda huge and infj is certainly able to do this. Being a type is not permission to let a weak area get weaker….i. Sure shes said this somewhere. I literally had to stop after 8 months of youtube art lessons and student work on a daily basis maybe missing 4 days after the first month. A bad heat wave. Endless it seemed! Im finally back at it. I set a date once i knew no more heat would interfere and commit to that date. The painting is the hard one for me. The drawing came back to the level i was at before automatically. I guess i can say i know how to draw! Means i will be painting. Ill admit i enjoyed the long break and the desire to just be a sloth is strong. Just get started like everyone else who gets things done. On a regular basis …..man if dont get hooked on it and do it automatically you are depressed. I KNOW! I have had hard to fix chrinic depression most my life and a pill keeps it low grade and does the opposite of motivate too but if there is no push when your there and always there you will have been defeated. Ugh. Dont like defeat! Who does? A lot of people are just depressed is all and its ok to say it. It was my cross to bear. Sometimes i wish i had something else….there are many many many things worse…..well sometimes its pretty horrible!! But anyway. Infj can to push!!! We all can

Any personality "type" arrived at via the Myers-Briggs test is completely meaningless. The test was developed in the 1940s based on the totally untested theories of Carl Jung and is now thoroughly disregarded by the psychology community. Even Jung warned that his personality "types" were just rough tendencies he'd observed, rather than strict classifications. Several analyses have shown the test is totally ineffective at predicting people's success in various jobs, and that about half of the people who take it twice get different results each time. Jung's principles were adapted into a test by Katherine Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers, a pair of Americans who had no formal training in psychology. To learn the techniques of test-making and statistical analysis, Briggs worked with Edward Hay, an HR manager for a Philadelphia bank. This isn't a test designed to accurately categorize people, but rather a test designed to make them feel happy after taking it. This is just one of the reasons it's persisted for so many years in the corporate world after being disregarded long ago by psychologists.
