Flash games hit so different back then, such an era will never be replicated, so I miss it all, especially with a titan like Happy Wheels just being left around with nothing major. Also, I sincerely hope no monetary publishing is a thing, that will literally kill the game before it can go anywhere, would be a sad end to the series.

One time , as a kid, my grandmother saw me and my brother watching Dantdm play Happy Wheel. She told my mother and ground us from watching youtube for about 2 months. That made me watch more video about the game, giving me hundreds hours of content. I still remember the experience watching someone play Happy Wheel. It really hit hard to see these good old content slowly fade away

Happy wheels is incredibly nostalgic to me, not only because I used to watch and play it, but also because I used to spend hours in a public library making levels and listening to music while doing it. I recently replayed those levels, and although some were rough around the edges, most still feel solid.

FavijTV, a italian youtuber who was the previous most subbed italian channel made 201 happy wheels videos over the span of 8 years(putting the series on pause sometimes) with the 100 and 200 special being livestreams. Unlike american youtube, especially back then, 2 million subscribers was the top of the top in italy, eventually reaching 6.5 million subscribers he is regarded as the one who inspired many. The thing that made his content so special was how simple it was, he was in his room, not holding back any profanity, living with his parents, He has now taken a backseat in the community Remaining in the history of italian youtube

Happy Wheels is one of those games I'm still nostalgic for, even though i didn't speak English back when it was popular. I grew up on the Italian side of KZbin specifically, and our big youtuber also played the game... A lot. Like, a STUPID amount. I'm pretty sure his series ended up lasting longer than Jacksepticeye's. Anyone who's Italian knows who I'm talking about lol.
