Once you hear his story you cant help but feel sorry for him. Loses his wife and then a good chunk of the galaxy turns against and actively tries to destroy your people or stands by while it happens. Hard not to be full of rage after that.

given how the jedi are supposed to be the good guy force users like at times it seems half of the problems and conflicts in the galaxy seem to be because of the actions of the jedi like they are the ones who turned the sith into such a violent and xenophobic culture in the old republic era as well as their disconnect from the general population of the galaxy made them often fairly unempathetic. plus im quite certain they didn't even only target dark side factions for elimination given how few force groups are as prominent as they are with mainly more primative cultures beneath the notice of the jedi or ones that don't bow to the jedi or the republic seeming to exist that im aware of

The Jedi should’ve never become so subservient and dependent on the Republic. They can’t claim to be peace keepers since all they were doing was acting as enforcers for corrupt senators.

Jedi were corrupted by fear. As much as they called themselves good guys and protectors of peace they often acted on behalf of the senate or made moraly questionable things to achieve their goals. All this from their high seats far above the common people of the galaxy they were suppose to serve and protect.
