Something that fascinates me about Star Wars is that George let the fans go wild with expanding the lore and history/future of the cannon. He told the story he wanted, could tell more even (we all know he had plans for more) but he didn't put down other talent from expanding his work. And in the end, we got Legends. Other writers who respected and honored George's creation but took it steps further into new directions and built up more lore. As someone who is an aspiring writer, I highly respect this. And all things considered, I would let the same thing happen. Though, unlike George (and in no way do I mean any offense at the man,) I would sooner let the devil possess me than sell my work to someone else. While I get "why" he did it. I honestly feel it was a mistake in the long term of the franchise. At least by keeping it within my influence, I can at least ensure the core of the story remains what it was and is intended to be.

@@s1d3k1ckRO yes but that doesn't mean they have to be so...uhh inconsistent? i dont even have a word for it, that's the closest i can think of. Original trilogy is propably the best movies for obvious reasons, but they aged A LOT, Prequels are memed to death, and mentioning anything about Sequels will cause this entire poor excuse of a community to throw shit at eachother and scream like a bunch of primates about Rey being a mary sue and Disney being some company that is ran by devils all beacuse they made 3 terrible movies that rely on nostalgia and nothing else, (jesus christ, see im now turning into one of them lmao) Meanwhile the coolest shit often happens in tv series, comics and books, while the movies are usually pretty fucking terrible. Like an arc of Clone Wars is usually almost as long as a minimal requirement to be considered a feature film, and they still manage to convey everything WAAAY better than any of the movies did.

i always wondered what Dooku's grand plan was for he end of the Clone Wars. I mean, with they're industrial capacity the Seperatists shouldn't have a problem drawing the Republic into a long, drawn out war of attrition until the Republic just gave up and let them secede, but what about afterwards? He becomes the leader? The Jedi would probably just assassinate him at some point since he's a Sith and all. It seems pretty obvious that Palpatine would have him assassinated at some point even if the Jedi didn't.

@177SCmaro

True. But Vader was human and a brutal enforcer of authority rather than a caotic alien enemy rampaging across the galaxy. Even if Vader's kill count was higher you be surprised how many people would have less of a problem with the authority of their own government murdering people then some outside threat murdering just as many, or even fewer. In the real word there have been some pretty alarming studies done on people who were asked by an authority figure to inflict increasing amounts of pain, even risk killing the subject, on someone else. In other words, most people tend to be like sheep, doing whatever authority tells them to.

Aaron Well from a cinematic stand point, he used both Obi Wan’s and Anakin’s in the CGI In ROTS. However that mean there are two other sabers he uses in ROTS, but they are merely just common hilt sabers that you’ll later see used by the Jedi who get killed by Palpatine in his Senate chambers. I like how Grevious' death is described as part of "the textbook example of a Jedi trap" in the Revenge of the Sith novel (Chapter 15: Death on Utapau). "The first is an irresistible bait... The second is a remote, nearly inaccessible location... Third, since it is a good idea to remain well out of reach when ploting against a Jedi's life - on the far side of the galaxy is considered best - one should have a reliable proxy" (page 281 - 282). "The final element essential to the creation of a truly effective Jedi trap is a certain coldness of mind... from any desire for a particular outcome. The best way to arrange matters is to create a win-win situation." (page 330).

Mas Amedda made sense, he was effectively the second most powerful person in the republic under Chancellor Valorum. As a Zabrak Maul paved the way for the fear of the Sith in the Jedi and terror that Grievous later causes. Cad Bane again was very much about deception, an alien doing the work of the separatists against the Republic. Thrawn was not only a link to an ascendancy that operated in the unknown regions but a tactical genius far superior to anyone else in the Empire. Let's be clear, Palpatine is not a racist or a supporter of Humanocentrism. He is a master of deception, and plays to the "passions and prejudices" of others. Fear & Hatred are key tools of the Sith and getting the humans of the galaxy to fear & hate non humans (and everyone to fear & hate droids) The galaxy becomes a play ground for him to do whatever he wanted and do it without gaining attention from anyone else. On a final note, the Jedi Order was one of the most diverse groups of people in the galaxy with members from most species within their ranks. With the Separatists being almost entirely alien or droid (bar Jango and Dooku [of which one was dead and the other often working from the shadows and being a former Jedi) having this fear and hatred of non humans made it all the more believable come Order 66 and the reports that the Jedi attacked the Chancellor, were behind the war and that Dooku was actually still a Jedi just controlling the Separatists on the Council's behalf. Remember the Sith were reported to be extinct. Very few people came into contact with Sidious or Maul to ever question that. Even in the Clone Wars series, Maul & Savage are mistaken for Jedi gone rogue.

and as a side note it was to manipulate Dooku too, Sidious told Dooku that he'd be his right hand in the republic and he'd be able to pit all of the damages and death on Grievous and Dooku was just trying to peacefully leave and the cyborg went too far. Course it was a lie bit it worked on the Count.

I think Tartarkovskys portrayal of Grievous was more impending and the reason for his cough seems way cooler than the reason that he coughs is just bc of the way he was built. The voice used in the 2D Clone Wars should have been used in the 3D Clone Wars in my opinion.

Sadly there isn't much info on the 87th other then what we can get from the source of there one and only appearance, Battlefront II. Basically, the 87th is a Clone Corps consisting of 36,864 Troopers specialized in urban warfare and deployed to defend the cities of loyal Republic planets from the threat of CIS invasion, so basically the Coruscant Guard but instead of Coruscant they protect places such as, for an example, Naboo's City of Theed or Eriadu's Capital City. I have a feeling that the 87th was used by Palps to make the galactic populace become more used to having a military presence around them in preparation for the rise of his Empire, but that's just a theory

@@SIVAmemSIVAmemcode I think that various governments have been seizing as much power as they can under the guise of saving lives, and that they will not relinquish all of that power once the crisis passes. Just like after 9/11. Sure, some lives will be saved in the short term by shutting the economy down, but a Great Depression will cost plenty of lives on top of greatly lowering the standard of living worldwide. Is one life worth a million dollars? A billion? A trillion? (I'm not talking out my ass, either. The UN's World Food Programme predicts an extra 130 million people facing starvation in developing countries due to economic issues relating to this, that is, about double the norm).
