Traded from the Tab to the LG. The bathroom is much better in the LG. It has a full shower surround that is wider and deeper than the Tab. Also, the LG has a full queen size bed without the claustrophobic sharp angle for the person sleeping on the inside. We put in a Serta pillow top and the sleeping experience is now amazing. The refrigerator is also larger in the LG and just positioned better. The Tab interior design is more aesthetically pleasing, but not enough to overcome the shortcomings.

There is a sink in the kitchen area a few steps away. Keep your bottled and can drinks stored below, and place a six pack or two in the fridge at a time leaving more room for other things. I have a ice maker I place on a table outside the door... Uses around 100 watts, which can be easily supplied by my banks of solar panels or my inverter generator off the grid... Never running out of ice makes you the boss of any campground...

I'm amazed they didn't consider a family might use this with 1 or 2 children. It's just creepy to me that as nice as this camper looks, they took a HUGE misstep and put that clear glass bathroom door in. Our family is very modest and respectful of each others private moments so this company's campers will never be a consideration.

The glass is not clear, it is somewhat of a textured glass. I had pointed this out to Chris Baum from Little Guy and he told me they have another one that will be out soon. We can always change this if that was a concern for someone as well.

so I'm starting a round country trip, and will stop in every county with a post office(so I can work, I have a shop). after my truck and camper, my budget will be finite, and ill be forced to get on the road before I've finished upgrading. my end goal is - heavy duty diesel pickup(one ton), truck camper+cargo trailer small, and ill have that setup complete in November, but all will be stock. I will end up with 1200w solar, 600-1000ah lithium battery bank, a fridge that only uses 80w including freezer. I'm pulling out the built in speaker.tv, and will use the speaker holes int alls for storage, and the entertainment panel(CD player, am/fm radio, etc) as my solar station. so there won't be any built in tv or speakers anymore, and the panels spot will be used for my solar controller/s. I don't know what to get first! also, I plan to use a compost toilet and will switch out my black tank for and extra propane storage. also, I'm using Castile soap which is organic, which eliminates gray water also.

@TheAirForceGuy5 жыл бұрын
Sorry that I did not pull out the supporting legs. As far as the moisture from the shower, that is why there is a power vent fan to exhaust it. If it was a full length door then there would be mold issue inside the shower area. Ventilation is always best.
@luciac.4195 жыл бұрын
@@TheAirForceGuy I do appreciate you taking the time to answer but that powerful fan would suck the air dry in a tiny batroom/wet room. But leaving it open like that allows that moist, warm air to go out into the entire camper & then less likely that fan will do its job completely.
@TheAirForceGuy5 жыл бұрын
When using a fantastic fan you must open a window. This type fan will not only remove the moisture from the shower area, but will circulate the air from the entire inside of the RV. Yes this will remove all the warm or cool air in the camper while doing so. If that is not what someone wants to do, it can be easily replaced with the smaller fan blades so you do not need to open a window or door while using.

It amazes me that the best innovations in design engineering do NOT cross over to most brands such as the full extension pull out storage tray or drawer for the basement storage compartments..more efficiency is a second thought I guess. But European designs like that and others are still slowly filtering into crappy built u.s built travel trailers..guess profit is part of the reason.
@TheAirForceGuy7 жыл бұрын
Problem with putting a storage tray in the pass thru area is that you lose height and width. So in reality, you lose storage space. As far as design & build, these are some of the best in the industry. Time will prove that!
@experimenteks39747 жыл бұрын
I always see the comments about European caravans being better built than their US counterparts which everyone and their grandmother like to say are just "crap" but when I tried to read about WHY European caravans are "better" built I could not find many articles about it. I don't find any articles discussing their builds at all. (If you know some, send a few links my way) With many US trailers I can actually know what goes in the trailer, how its built, what materials they built it with, and if I am near their factories many of them even give walk-around tours. You can actually see how these trailers are made. I've also seen many innovations with regards to safety and build standards in American trailers. The variety of trailers in the US from the iconic Airstreams to trailers made entirely from fiberglass, Azdel, and traditional stick builds are available. There is literally something for everybody. With European caravans, they have fantastic interior decorations and styling. I'd give them that. But often I don't know what goes in the trailer. And I doubt makers disclose their built "secrets". Basically, what I'm saying is I hope people would provide better reasoning (and evidence) to substantiate the claim that US trailers are crap. I'd like to know more.

Good Luck finding any RV of this Quality in that price range New! Only people that understand the RV Industry know why they are priced where they are. It is hard for people outside the RV Industry to understand.

I thought that too at first. I think the easiest to see is an rv with cardboard and glue cabinets, versus birch wood with dovetail joints.

Totally..ive seen 24' trailers for 21k. What is up with your prices. I want a small unit with a small price..ugggh

B Randell honestly how many birch cabinets do you see?

I am not rich-the TAB is worth it-the build quality is so far beyond that standard cheap RV's.

There hasn't been 110 volts for 50 years... It's 120 volts.....
@TheAirForceGuy5 жыл бұрын
Right on the electrical hook-up on RV's it specifically says 110/125 volt AC.

@@TheAirForceGuy So, if it says BOTH, then why call it 110 vac when it's clearly (at least to me) 120+ vac residential service here in the USA..???? Countries that use 110 vac: Anguilla, Belize, British Virgin Islands, Cuba, Guam, Haiti, Jamaica, Saba, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Taiwan, United States Virgin Islands. My point is that after about 60 years of use, it's about time people living here in the USA and 'advising'' them, learn what is the correct electrical service/supply voltage in the country they live in..... Unless of course you plan to travel in one of the above countries.. Then your are 'good to go'.. LOL! Just sayin..

Scott, not sure what plumbing you are talking about. These are one of the best TearDrops in the Market. Thanks for Watching.

There can be a 2" receiver on bumper for bikes etc. These hitch bike racks are ridiculous. Bad aerodynamics, they can rub on camper, harder to use and look hideous. Why do people like them?.. lol
@TheAirForceGuy Жыл бұрын
Because their bikes get less bounce vs being on the back. They are more secure as well. I had a customer towing his 5th wheel with expensive bikes on the back and while going thru a city at a stop light, he noticed someone riding off with his bike the other way. No way for him to catch him.

I like the Max! But I swear you look and sound just like a car salesman right out of the 50’s, all need is a bow tie! What does the Air Force have the do with RV sales?
@TheAirForceGuy5 жыл бұрын
Chuck, Thanks for Watching. "The Air Force Guy" is how I have branded myself over the last decade. People forget names, but remember brands. It has been very effective over the last few years on Social Media. You know I often considered wearing a bow tie!
