To this day Daffy held a grudge against Porky, doesn't excuse his actions but it explains them far better than Sonic being an as* to Tails for no reason, doesn't sit well nor is it funny.

Maybe it was just a time slot thing… The issue is that they targeted younger audiences, but it more easily works as an all-age show. So if it aired at around the crossover point between daytime and prime time TV (the point where cartoons stop for the day and we transition into family programs), it might have done better. Especially since much of the older demographic would be watching a new take on something they likely grew up with.

Finally you’re talking about this show one of my favorite shows ever!
@kaylemathewcomendador69643 жыл бұрын
I remember not really digging the show at first. Probably has something to do with the first batch of episodes showing signs that the writers were still figuring the identity of this incarnation of the series and going for not always interesting sitcom plots at first, like you said in the video. Maybe I should try giving the later episodes a chance. Judging from how people have been talking about it positively lately due to that Space Jam sequel making people talk about Looney Tunes again lately.
@cooperwolfe54783 жыл бұрын
I would definitely recommend you watch the later episodes. They are fantastic but I do agree that the earlier episodes were some of the weakest but after that it was solid gold.

The Looney Tunes Show was my childhood. I remembered watching it when it first aired on Cartoon Network when it was 10 and almost 11 years old. *sigh* Good times. I want to go back in time and be a little boy again.

I’m personally confused as to why The Looney Tunes Show had a PG rating while Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated had a Y7 rating. Then I remember it had guns. Really need to revisit this show. Also I would’ve loved to have Kristen Wiig reprise her role as Lola in the new Space Jam. Maybe have Tina Russo appear with Zendaya voicing her.

Haven’t seen the new Space Jam movie yet, so I can’t say if Zendaya did a good job as Lola or not. But I was pretty skeptical when I heard she was going to play her because the only role I can remember her playing was MJ in the MCU Spider-Man movies and she wasn’t really an exciting character to watch in those movies.

I mean Annie Mumolo or Jennifer Esposito should be the voice of Tina Russo. Because they really captured her personality and her accent.

I can say honestly that I tried it and realized that it is not for me. I am one of those old buggers stuck in his ways who prefers his classic Looney Tunes. That said, I don't feel the need to hate on this even though I did not enjoy it. To me it is a wonderful thing to see the series continue to grow and adapt and keep bringing in new audiences who can learn to love these characters in ways we all have for decades.

I remember when this show was airing on TV. I never paid much attention to me as it didn’t interest me at that time. It wasn’t until they canceled it and started only playing re-runs when I finally gave it a shot. I remember laughing my ass off when I saw it most of the time. I sometimes watch clips on KZbin and I still laugh my ass off even though I’m all grown up. I love this show (:

One of my favorite bits from that entire series was where you catch the tail end of a conversation where Daffy says "and thats why I dont wear pants." The lack of comtext and everything made it much funnier than it should have been.

I never tuned in weekly for new episodes but I would watch reruns and genuinely enjoyed it. I honestly always loved the tone the looney tunes show set. Instead of just taking the approach of slapstick, they gave us a sort of sitcom with a few slapstick elements here and there. Daffy 100% was the best part. Whats strange is when it came out, I always thought people liked it. I feel like it was the one show that I could binge watch on repeat, and never get tired of, because the writing is that good. I really wish the looney tunes show could get a revival at this point.

i just watched the full 2 seasons. at first i thought it's just the typical cartoons where characters fight or hit each other, but this was different and so good! Each character has its own distinct (more realistic) personality that makes them standout and create great storylines that are somehow relatable. I genuinely had tons of laughs with dialogues i never saw coming! i love the hint of bonds; friendship and romance between the characters! i love the character designs too :3 i really hope they continue making season 3 seeing that it's slowly getting the recognition now that it deserves way back. hope they inlclude it too in netflix or hulu to popularize it.

This had to have been one of my favorite shows on Cartoon Network that I actively watched as a kid. I grew up on stuff like the New Tom and Jerry show, Wabbit(back when it was still called that, but I personally think it was a better name) Wacky Racers, reruns of Mystery Incorporated, etc, etc. Those were all really good shows but I really liked the Looney Tunes show, and I can't believe I forgot about the crazy moments that happened in-between. From the Grilled Cheese song, to the 4th of July Number to(my favorite) the Daffy Duck "Wizard" musical, and my favorite part of the show had to have been the Road Runner shorts. I genuinely think this is the type of show where you don't truly appreciate it until you mature and look back on it with older eyes. Then you get to see all the wacky, relatable jokes that you had no clue were jokes back when it first aired. That is for making this video man, you brought back so forgotten memories from me!
