John was a workaholic, as simple as that. He was energetic and organized and would show up to the restaurant pantry or the hotel at odd times for random inspections. He would swipe his finger on surfaces to check for dust or dirt.
The hotel's cleanliness was a top priority for him, and he would personally ensure that such standards were maintained. If the staff ever made a mistake, John used compassion and love to solve their problems. As he once put it, "If you keep the employees happy, then they keep the customers happy."
