He already defended his belt against the FW champion two times. Why should he do it again and put the brakes on both divisions? For the Heavyweight division I would also suggest to lower the weight limit to something around 250/245 lbs since the top of the division is around that weight and they could maintain it with normal diet, and it force those overweight ranked that already have to lose weight to put a better shape and conditioning, and I would get rid of those unraked fat guys and go search in other organizations a mix of prospects and relatively consolidated names to replace them

No reason to change the limit of a division that has existed since the inception of weight classes in the UFC. It’s also the recognized heavyweight limit among almost every other combat sport from boxing to kickboxing to wrestling (which is actually higher at 285). You can solve the problem with the weight class by simply doing what he states in the video. Sign new and fresh talent from other promotions like ONE, PFL and Bellator. Anatoly Malykhin, Vadim Nemkov, Oleg Popov and Renan Ferreira would all be great additions to the division and really shake up the rankings.

nobody cares about how long did it took merab to get a title shot, that's his problem he delayed it himself for multiple reasons: 1. he's boring as hell, and that makes the ufc delay him as much as possible in hopes of him losing so they get rid of him out of the title picture, 2. he refused to fight his friend for the belt. and just because it took merab so long it doesn't mean umar has to go through the same route, you guys don't even understand what's deserving and not deserving in the ufc, you deserve a title shot once you prove yourself by beating a top contender regardless of how long it took you, and that's exactly what umar did.
