To be fair he improved in grappling between the Adesanya fight and the Blachowicz fight, he was getting taken down easily in the Adesanya fight but when he fought Blachowicz, who is a much better wrestler than Adesanya, Alex defended a lot of the takedowns and also saved himself from getting submitted. Obviously Alex still shows weaknesses with grappling but if he's training it a lot more, I'm sure he can give grapplers a harder time taking him down

Since that KO loss early on many years ago he has been incredibly difficult to hit. Maybe this is how he ultimately wins those dogfights, by minimising attritional damage and relying on his skills to keep him a step ahead.

I would say topurias weakness would be someone with powerful head body and leg kicks. Max has good kicks but they aren’t kicks that’ll knock you out they’re more just to touch you or sting you and he will opt for more volume. Diego lopes could pose issues for ilia bc I think his head kicks are way harder than maxs and we saw him destroy ortegas calf in their fight. That being said if topuria pressures Diego against the fence Diego’s kicks could be rendered useless

Islam Makhachev - Striking His striking success has been reliant on his takedown. An Aldo-esque fighter would give him problems Tom Aspinall - Boxing defence Like you mentioned, he strikes with his chin up in the air and was getting caught by Blaydes in their rematch. A heavy-hitting boxer would take advantage of this bad habit. Ilia Topuria - Ranged strikers Jai Herbert gave him trouble and Holloway is arguably his toughest fight. If he can get past Holloway he's most likely going to be a long-reigning champion.

lots of the time islam wasn't able to keep volk and dustin on the ground and he's got a few failed attempts on them too and he still outstrike them, so his striking success isn't just because of the takedown threats he's also just a good striker but with the takedown threats it makes his striking even more better, so it doesn't matter how good your takedown defense is you will still face troubles on the feet with him and his opponents will have to keep in my mind the wrestling even if their takedown defense is very good which makes them a bit less effective in the striking and with the good striking of islam it will be enough to outsrike them.

Ilia and Aspinall are both reckless, especially the latter. Aspinall tends to leave his chin exposed when he’s going for the knockout, which makes him vulnerable. If he fights a quick opponent or someone with good knockout power, it could be lights out for him. Stylistically, his worst matchup would be against a power puncher like Ngannou. Aspinall’s style heavily relies on explosiveness and doing things quickly, and at his current pace, he risks gassing out in the later rounds. I don’t think any fighter can maintain such a high pace without eventually slowing down, and if he does slow down, it would mean a complete change in his fighting style. Topuria, on the other hand, looks pretty solid. The main vulnerability I’ve noticed is his susceptibility to leg kicks; we’ve seen him take both head kicks and low kicks. However, he’s shown a solid chin so far, so we’ll have to wait and see how that holds up in the future.
