so does this mean the the observable universe will keep expanding at this exponenitial rate indefinatley, or is there a limit or time wehre it will start to slow down?

The opening fact of the video isn't quite right. The observable universe was very small, but not point-like. If the universe is infinite now, then it would have been infinite at the big bang as well.
