Well, to be fair, they see themselves as the leader of the world because if not them, it may be worse. The US did not want to get involved in WWII as it was a war in Europe. We resisted so much of it until we could no longer. Pearl Harbor was one stimulus. Regardless, whether the US remains as the world military and economic leader as a good thing or not, remains to be seen. How they had been acting abroad the last few decades alone brings much shame and not a lot of hope for this country (USA) and perhaps the world. I am going to complain to the Trading Standards Officer, as I fail to see any thinking going on in the Thinkers Forum. She must be on something to say that Russia has rebuilt its economy, as there is no evidence to prove that it is so. Russia is on a war footing and rapidly running out of money. It's a Mediterranean civilization mindset, always compete furiously to be on top and make sure to stay on top at all cost. China came from the part of the world which it had been a unipolar power for thousands of years. Great assessment! The exposure of the paper tiger is totally complete. Cheap goods, commodities, labor are nowhere to be seen. Foreigners refuse to be used by westerners. Provoking fear and engaging in threats no longer work. Westerners must now work hard for their living as other people seek to encourage self sufficiency. Moreover, the force of highest gravity that is changing the world is the standard of moral excellence in terms of which people in the middle east and east as a whole conduct their lives, far outstripping anything in the west. And yet isn't is amazing that someone like Joseph Borrell of the European Council should have the affrontery to refer to Europe as the garden, while others represent the forest?! What a barbarian!
