@@FootballHubDaily I watched it. It is true if you look into history. There is a clear pattern.
@David_Poole3 күн бұрын
@@venuslove-i1v The point isn't that what's said isn't true. It's the fact that they pick and choose what to highlight. Example: They state that Trump won in 2016 by disregarding the 2012 autopsy. Making him out to be a white supremacist and a racist, with no comment on the margin of victory other than saying Hillary had the popular vote. They then say that democrat Joe Biden secures a convincing win over Trump 306 to 232. Trump had the exact same victory over Hillary in 2016. Conclusion: When a democrat wins by 306 it's a convincing win and there's nothing bad to say about the candidate that won. When trump wins by 306, it's not convincing, and he's a racist felon that should go to prison. This is further proven when talking about the 2024 results. Trump gained massive percentages of votes from all minorities in 2024. Showing that this idea that he only appeals the white supremacists is not true. They fail to mention that he gained support from minorities and end with the comment that he's the first felon to become president. The framing is what makes this bias. They had nothing bad to say about the democratic party but had a lot of bad things to say about trump, because they don't like him. Hence, bias towards the democrats.

HEY! Andrew Johnson was not a republican. He was a democrat. He was a senator from the slave state of Tennessee which seceded and joined the Confederacy. He was the only sitting senator from a Confederate state that did not resign his office and rejoin his home state for the war. As the Civil War was winding down in 1864, Lincoln tapped him to run as VP on a “Unity Ticket” to help put the Republic back together. Lincoln died and Johnson became president only to reverse everything Lincoln was planning for reconstruction. Johnson wanted a blanket pardon for all Confederate soldiers, let the Southern states back in the Union with all of their Confederate politicians returning to their offices and most of all, to not provide any federal rights to the newly freed slaves. He vetoed every republican bill to help the slaves. He was impeached by the House and barely avoided being removed from office by the Senate. He failed being reelected in 1868. I cannot express how disappointed I am with this video. I cannot say I’m well versed in all the elections but I will say this. Business Insider is terribly biased in favor of the Democratic Party. I can cite 2 reasons why I say this. 1. The election of 1992. Did you notice how every election with multiple candidates would be shown but 1992 only showed Clinton v Bush. When in actuality it was Clinton, Bush and conservative businessman PEROT! Ross Perot was so significant that he was actually on stage in the debates with Bush and Clinton. He actually garnered almost 20% of the popular vote! 1996 had Perot involved by getting 8.4% of the popular vote as well! So the fact they do not disclose how important Perot was calls into question their honesty and integrity to the viewer. 2. The election of 2016/2020 So let’s talk about how they love to highlight how Trump barely won 3 key swing states in 2016. Florida (1.2%), Wisconsin (0.8%) and Pennsylvania (0.7%). JFK won the presidency by less than 1 percent in multiple states that gave him the presidency but that is not highlighted in the video. By pointing this out to the viewer it implies that Trump barely won in the electoral college. By the way Biden won 3 states in 2020 by a little more than 40,000 votes and if they had gone for Trump he would’ve lost but that too isn’t highlighted. When it is highlighted that Clinton won the popular vote it seems completely unfair. We see it happened in 2000 but the video doesn’t highlight it in 1876 and 1888 as well. Those elections had someone win the presidency without the popular vote. This video reeks of partisan leftist point of view. The 2 people providing commentary are espousing leftist stances on almost every subject in which they speak. Don’t share this video with anyone outside your leftist silo, it will not be received well.

It's challenging for media outlets to present unbiased content, and I appreciate your effort to approach this topic with nuance. However, there's still room for improvement. The most difficult stance to maintain in today's society isn't being left or right, but rather being impartial and unbiased. Unfortunately, genuine unbiased news sources are scarce, making it essential to approach each media outlet with caution. What's concerning is when prominent media outlets use derogatory labels to describe one side, reminiscent of the hate speech that contributed to the rise of Hitler's regime. These labels can have a profound impact, and it's essential to consider the motivations behind their use. Are they intended to incite fear or empower one's own views?

Barack Obama received 365 electoral votes in 2008, which is about what Bill Clinton got in 1992. It was a decisive victory, but not a landslide. The last candidate to achieve a true landslide electorally was George H.W. Bush in 1988 when he received 426 electoral votes. No candidate since then has exceeded 400 electoral votes.
