It’s very interesting. At first, Felix seems like a cowardly scumbag, but the more we see of him the more we get his perspective and (still VERY flawed) reasonings. He might be the most complex character in The Walten Files so far.

I also like the static effect above the grave, it represents how felix doesn't want to think about what's going to happen to him when he has to come clean to jack, and how he wished it all ended in the accident

It humanises the character, in earlier episodes it may not be him trying to cover up what he did with the tapes saying "hes the greatest" its him trying to tell himself that to try and get himself out of the guilt for Ed and Molly, and it could be a mask he wears to give the illusion, like he lives in greatness but really is the worst person he knows

Honestly, I truly feel sorry for Felix. Sure, he didn't handle things the best after or even before the crash, but it was clear that he was struggling both mentally and emotionally. Now he's going through hell and he knows it's his fault, things will never go back to the way they were and it's all his fault. I also want to point out that someone mentioned that you could still hear breathing from The two twins, meaning that they wern’t dead at that point bit just dying. I love these types of characters because It humanizes them to make us feel both sorry yet upset at them. We felt bad for Felix accidental murder and his attempt to end it all because he thinks he should've died with them and not be the lone survivor of his own cause But at the same time. We felt angry at Felix for keeping his problems a secret, destroying his life (along with his friends) the more he fell for it, like his alcohol addiction. It drowned him in his own guilt but he refused to climb back up and admit being the source of the flood.

You're welcome, and I would like to mention something. The entity that is called "Bon" looks like it could be of the three people Jack, Felix, or Norman. I'm just saying this because of the lack of information we really have about those three and the suit the entity wears. @@ZeMoonMonkey given that norman is still alive after susan goes missing, it's highly unlikely that he's bon. same goes for felix as another reply already stated. a lot of people think that jack could be bon, but the two characters seem to act and sound completely different from eachother, and despite being missing it isn't confirmed that jack is dead, and i believe that it's hinted that he may still be alive. i think that bon is possessed by someone that has yet to be introduced in the tapes.

I'm glad people are starting to catch on to the fact that felix is an extremely complicated character. I've been saying for years that felix's behavior doesn't stem from plain selfish self preservation, but a heavy tendency for conflict avoidance. The way he tries to put the facade of a honest businessman, buries the kids and avoids confronting jack may easily allude to someone who simply wants to save his hide, but adding the context of him being unable of telling jack no to taking the kids, the tape recorders he uses so he won't try fooling himself that "nothing happened", the way he hid rocket, the way he avoided addressing the issue of his alcoholism with linda, the fact that the waltens are unaware of his alcoholism (because he probably tried to hide it from them), all that paints the story of someone with way, wayyy deeper issues. He doesn't simply try to cover his misdeeds, he is is going out of his way to hide his imperfections, his emotions, it's as if he's constantly in a state of anxiety and is afraid of any form of negativity. Something big happened to felix prior to bunnyfarm, something that's been hinted since episode 3, and that was probably the catalyst that caused his alcoholism, since linda mentions that his issues started after him suddenly showing signs of distress. I also wouldn't be surprised if childhood trauma is at play here, but what I am certain of is that there was an incident. The new episode further pushed the idea by exploring his guilt, plus the scene with rocket in his house

Its interesting, Felix isnt shown to ever ponder the option of facing the consequences of his actions, or how even he would do that. He wishes he had died, he ponders about suicide, yet is unable to do it, and ultimately ofuscates the truth to lessen his culpability. All which reflects a strong fear of facing the consequences. He feels guilty, but yet his sense of selfpreservation is far stronger. He is basically, a coward, which could also be tied to his alcoholism as a base. He is sympathetic in a sense, yet unforgivable, and by how the timeline goes later, unredeemable, after all he even takes all the credit for the company creations and success, seemingly chosing to forget and bury everything and everyone related to the incident in an storage lost somewhere, (this without taking in account his possible involvement in the other deaths of the series, i just dont believe mister wonderghostighost is the real cause of the killings even if he may have influenced them, doesnt seem like the ghost stuff has a literal reflection in reality, and personally, its a cheap shitty explanation).

Yeah, this scene made me squirm in my seat! The way TWF4 characterised Felix made me fall in love with the series all over again. Also, it explained why Waltens even thought it was a good idea to have Felix pick up the kids - they didn't know about the severity of his drinking problem! And that Susan and Charles knew, but didn't tell them in time! Everything that could go wrong did, with this friend group.

Every instance of Felix has given me the heavy impression that he cares FAR more about his own life than the live's of the kids. He does not want to make things right for the kids, all he wants is to have his own relief from the fear of comfronting his shame, which is not the same as guilt Taking his own life is not his way of making up for what he did, it's an escape If he truly felt guilt he would talk to Felix, or aproach the police. i think Felix Kranken is a truly flawed individual, but he is no coward in my eyes. it is obvious that he had his own turmoil and guilt even before the crash due to his alcoholism which got unfathomably worse after the death of Walten's children. To a certain point, i feel as though i can kind of relate to this unending feeling of guilt, regret and deep shame that permeates through his character and through his actions (well, i mean im not an alcoholic and i didnt cause the death of my business partner's children, but i digress).I think this is why i heavily dislike when people say that Felix is an evil person. There is no one to blame in my perspective, only tragedy. i feel truly sorry for all those the characters involved in the utter tragedy that is the Walten Files

It was a pretty interesting video and I love how Martin took his time to show us with more detail the accident that killed Ed and Molly and Suzanne's death. I love how it explained a lot of things that definitely needed answer right now, like giving us Felix's perspective of the death of the kids, finally have an explanation of the one thing we didn't understand about Brian's death (the weird face we now know is Bon scanning Brian's face but malfunctionning, making him think he killed Sophie) and finally knowing who's the ghost possessing Bon.... kinda. I love how Martin is kinda trolling with us by finally revealing who's inside Bon, just to tell us absolutely nothing about him. No dull name, his character is so strange that there's not a lot of definite features about him giving us a single clue of his actual real iddentity. I hope that the theories about Jack not being Bon but still being alive are true. Cause it'd be interesting to see his reaction to any of this happening.

Its weird cuz like..given the surrounding context clues we know that to some extent people know he was drunk while driving. And we see the aftermath of it, but for some reason people think he lied. (Talking about Charles and Susan) What if he didnt lie, truly did come clean about accidentally killing Edd and Molly, but his panicked burial of the bodies (meaning nobody can find them) and the discarding of their belongings makes people THINK he killed them on purpose. Hes flawed and fucked up bad, but his panicked actions resulted in an accident looking more premeditated.

its interesting how jack is portrayed in twf 4. We get so little shots of his face and whenever we do get to see it it's almsot completely shrouded in darkness. That, combined with all of the shots inside the house makes jack seem almost monstrous. This is probably to show how Felix perceives jack as, or it could be more to do with jack's anger with him.

I don’t know if anyone’s gonna see this one but the way Felix’s grief is presented in Walten files 3 and 4 feels so real to me, not only just how it’s described in this video but also the anguish in his voice when he screams in walten files 3, that part was the only part to truly get to me in the series so far, the way he screams is something I can recognize. That is pure anguish knowing what he’s done and knowing he can’t go back anymore, wishing he could’ve gone one night sober so Jack’s kids could’ve been safe.

The scene with Felix may be one of the most tense that I've seen in an analog horror series. While other series have utilized the thought of suicide, we never see the actual process but rather the aftermath. But here, although Felix doesn't go through with his suicide attempt, it still makes the scene so tense and had you on the edge of your seat nonetheless.

I already liked felix before this épisode, even after what he did, well at first he didn't want to go to that school party with edd and molly because of his bad state of mind, but since Jack coudn't and kept insisting, Felix accepted and ya know, he got drunk at the adult section because he's a depressed addict, and what happened happened And yeah like everyone I was pissed at Félix for the accident and the jokes where funny But at the same time I felt sympaphetic toward that character because I cant imagin trauma of accidentally killing the kids of my best friends and I think it's understandable that Felix just straight up ignored Jack's calls even if it was a bad décision at this point things can't get worse for him as he think Like yeah I think nobody would be able to answer Jack and be like "Oh man listen shit happen I accidentally killed your kids I didn't mean to" It was his responsability to tell jack but at the same time... it's awful. And Jack has every right to hate Félix and wanting to kill him Felix, who was already struggling with dépression, alcoholism and his falling relationship with linda has lost now his best friend and his job. And his mental health is going worse after what he did. So yeah I like Felix but also goddamit Felix get some fucking help So yeah here was my useless comment
