AUSTALIAN HERE: In future if you are going to have people on who make claims about other countries can they just get their facts RIGHT. Is it just too much to ask they get the basics right. Nauru was a BRITISH not Australian protectorate and it was a British company that strip mined the island for phosphate. That had nothing to do with Australia. It was Australia that helped Narau get out of that hole with the court cases. It was Australia that helped invest the funds from the settlement with the British Phosphate company. It was Australia that helped set up their international banking sector which then helped rich Australians avoid tax. Narau DID NOT cede a part of their country to Australia for handling the illegal arrivals. That whole case of the ILLEGAL (and they were illegal) immigrants included a massive multi-national criminal people smuggling system that was insanely exploitive of the people trying to find a new home. In all the years since when people have complained about what Australia did we ask 1 question. *WHAT WOULD YOU HAVE DONE TO STOP THE CRIMINAL EXPLOITATION that was going on?* Nobody ever has a practical answer.

Adam, you should take a look at how big gold mining companies work. I worked for years in the gold exploration industry, and I can tell you from first hand experience that it's very little to do with opening gold mines. It's way more to do with being able to prove resources, to say "we have x-million ounces in the ground", regardless of whether or not those ounces will be extracted. It all comes down to either being able to sell a property for a certain value based on proven resource, or to add those numbers to a company portfolio to attract investment. I would guess that by now, %90 of the value of gold companies is "proven, but not attainable". It's all just a facade. It's a way to invent wealth for the wealthy. Love your work, keep doing what you do.

@3nertia wdym, it cost nothing to transfer your money from savings to a brokerage account. You will be saving money if you are healthy enough to risk a few months without insurance, and will have more cash on hand not getting taxes deducted out of your paycheck. Its completely legal, and can be done from your phone in most cases . Only downside, if it doesn't work, you need to pay those taxes at the end of the year, you don't gain interest on your savings while it's sitting in a brokerage, and you might need to find a new health insurance. But I think at most they could hold out for a few months before they system cracks if even just 10m Americans did this.

Broad legislation, I feel, will always leave room for loopholes, if the legislation intends to be fair for the little guy. For instance, while underemployed, I can't make enough to make ends meet and receive medical and food benefits, but the cost of earning 1 dollar too much to qualify equates to 15 hours of work per week, and it ramps up from there. Luckily 1099 counts half toward benefit qualification so I can actually make ends meet with less than 55-60 hours per week, but there are no alternatives at my current income level. Increasing the cost of debt financing relative to equity is, in my opinion, one way to solve the problem. In order to raise money, a startup or corporation will first go to equity funding, which will allow workers who choose to contribute as well as stockholders to do so. Then, as we gradually create an equity-based society for the majority, those billionaires will no longer be able to grow their businesses by taking on more debt. There's also a system that the poor can extrapolate from and get ill-gotten gains the gist of it is if you're a crook you're going to look for crooked ways if you're not a crook you're going to go by the rules and the law and you're going to pay your fair share

Yes the federal is lost but keep building state government power for your cause. Remember, the system is setup where we have 50 independent states that have agreed to ceede select powers to a single federal government.

They do these interviews weeks ahead, which gives raw sound and video. It takes time to remove background sounds and cut between interviewer and guest. This isn't live

@@CrystalBulger If it is scheduled it seems to be pretty poor scheduling , it's not like Nov 5 was a surprise . Anyway , I'm really disappointed in America , this is sickening . At 72 I've witnessed a lot of bad things happening , the deaths of JFK , RFK , MLK , Nixon and Reagan and their treason , W and his treason , but now we have a bonafide dictator backed by a fascist party and a court that is complicit . It won't end well...

26:49 “…now people are talking about space…” Yes, space, but not for minerals. Communications and energy. Minerals from space will never beat minerals on Earth. Rockets plus clever robots will never be economically competitive against a shovel and bucket. After SpaceX’s reusable rockets everyone sees and understands satellite constellations for Internet from anywhere. Everyone talks about fusion but ignores the fusion reactor at the centre of our solar system. Terrestrial solar energy suffers from day/night, weather and land use, none of which space-based solar energy suffers. We know there’s a virtually bottomless market for energy and virtually bottomless feedstock.

Considering the size of boat any sub-billionaire can afford seasteading is worse than living in a closet. No room to move. Omnipresent threat of sinking and drowning.

The rich continue to help the rich while the rest of us struggle to even pay for their products and services. Doesn't seem fair, does it?
