There seems like there's no ceiling for Jokic. He's so efficient that he really can score 40 points a game, he really can make 15+ rebounds a game, he really can get 15+ assists a game. I wouldn't be surprised if he has a 40/15/15 stretch.

I chose to believe that jokers comments about players taking a pay cut was a shot at the real issue, Booth. He hands out contracts to “players” that would get run off the court at the 24 hour fitness. Zeke, Tyson, Pickett, Saric, Murry’s max should all get a pay cut or just cut.

I disagree with your assessment about the non lack of talent dline. Yes they have enough talent to win even against good teams but they rely too much on young players and they are not consistent. Project dynasty has reduced the current talent in favor of upside.

You guys really don't watch other teams at all. Houston has incredible chemistry and can win an offensive game and defensive struggle. Great depth and if Sengun can reach All-NBA first team level, they will be a legit title contender. How you struggle to put them in A is beyond me. Ja Morant is absolutely not more impactful than he looks. The Grizzlies just have way better depth than anyone could have seen. Santi Aldama is a fantastic role player, Scottie Pippen Jr. is proving that he can have success on a good team as well, Jaylen Wells is a 2nd round pick playing better than all the first round picks, and Jay Huff randomly revived his career. Ja, Bane, and Smart all missed time/are having down years but the rest of the team is picking up the slack.

We don't have any idea how these teams will finish the season, but up till now Nuggets have simply been horrible. Jamal is terrible, having the worst season of his career. The defense has been abysmal due to lack of focus and energy. The odds on favorites to win the West right now have to be Dallas and the Thunder. It hurts to leave Denver out of it, but based on how they've played how can you rate them any higher than B tier? Lose to the lowly Wizards and you are lucky you're not in D tier! If they'd lost to the Hawks we'd be rating them in D tier right now!

Ignorant media saying is that all MVP runner ups this season so far all have at least one other superstar alongside to even be considered an MVP candidate. EXCEPT JOKIC! If joker lead nuggets top1-4 seed he will be MVP if they’re 5-6 it’s debatable and if 7-9 it’s not happening. Fair or unfair thats how it’s worked for 75+ yrs! Many times the best player in the world doesn’t win mvp. Joker was robbed in 22-23 averaging essentially a 25 point triple double on elite efficiency/analytics on 1 seed in the West. When he won it on 6 seed it’s bc LeBron & Embiid (favored before injury) got hurt and no other great candidates on 55+ win teams. This yr of SGA Tatum Giannis Luka etc have great stats on top1-3 seeds they’re gonna win it over Joker ok anything below a 5 seed. Just how it works.

It was a solid win (lock bet imo and I tweeted about it as soon as game started), but we can’t ignore the context Hawks were missing 20, 10, 6, 2.4 stocks on 51-52% FG% Jalen Johnson & top3-5 bench players and overall gamer on a per minute basis the last couple of years ATL Serbia Bogey. Nuggets missing Murray and b2b for sure, but if those 2 played I would have stayed away vs without them it was my lock one of my locks of December so far. Nuggets still may of won, but those are def 2 of their 5 best players. Also some shooting luck as Hawks missed some wide open 3s and their 9/40 could easily of been 17/40 with bad shooting luck (for nuggets) making game closer even without Jalen Johnson & Bogey. Actually mad at myself for not being more on Nuggets as soon as I saw both of those 2 out! Even in Vegas Hawks before those 2 were out were -1.5, but after they were out a ton of money went on nuggets and it closed at -1.5 Nuggets! 3 point swing pretty big in such little time. PS as a basketball nut/lover/historian OBJECTIVELY Jokic is not the GOAT (just like no one ever is at 29) bc you gotta do it for longer, BUT he’s inarguably in yr5 of a Top1-7 5yr run EVER (2020-21 to 24-25). Reminds me some of 83-84 to 87-88 Larry Bird honestly as Bird those 5 years 27, 10, 7, 3 stocks on 51/40/90 including 3 straight MVPs and 2nd 3rd MVP, 4 straight Finals, 2 Finals MVP and then in 88 lost in ECF to Pistons (2 finals losses in 6 twice to incredible Showtime Lakers in 85/87). Post Bird Magic Hakeem MJ 30-40 yrs ago LeBron & Jokic by far the 2 best player imo. If Shaq did what he did in 2000-02 more yrs he’d be right there too and that 3yr prime is def one of the GOAT 3 yr primes, but at 5yrs or more no one else the last 25-28 yrs can touch the value/impact + all around greatness of LeBron & Jokic! Duncan 03-07 prime pretty amazing too to be fair. My personal unstoppable starting 5 that no one ever (with all diff players) could touch (all at their best)? Even 92-93 & 93-94 teams were not very good at all (no one came close to playing as great as 2020/23 playoff Murray or even 23-24 RS Murray when he was 14/19/19 in OBPM, BPM, VORP per game). He finally got good a future HOF type teammate around him the 2nd half of 94-95 (yr 12 Clyde Drexler so not even his prime yrs 7-11 which is what is ultimate prime for most players) when Hakeem like Drexler 32 yrs old himself! If Hakeem Jokic Wilt switched teammates/coaches/GMs/owners with Russell, Kareem, Duncan Shaq they’d all have 4-11 titles each and Russell Kareem Duncan Shaq would have MAX 2 titles each! Who you play with matters! Hakeem won b2b titles AVERAGING 31, 11, 4-5 APG, 5 stocks per game on 53% FG%. He was the best offensive and defensive player in the NBA. Only prime MJ or LeBron can think of saying that in my lifetime (early 80s baby)! they still think that going 1-1 vs ATL+WSH with Jokic playing "100 minutes", scoring 100 pts and shooting 50% from 3 means anything. You are absolutely correct, this team is broken by stupid contracts. When they eventually loose in PO they will finally say you can't win with Westbrook, something I said on day 0, but for now we have to pretend, like there's possibility that they will get better...
