Refs were strangely consistent about not calling that a flagrant foul. Naz Reid made the exact same play on Kuminga in the previous game, they didn’t call a flagrant then either. For what it’s worth, I don’t think either were flagrant fouls, in both cases the fouls were committed to make absolutely sure the shot couldn’t be made, and Naz and Dray held on to each player to prevent them from landing poorly so Kuminga and Según wouldn’t hurt themselves on the landing. It was risky for Draymond to do it that way given his reputation, but he was clearly trying to prevent Según from hitting his head on the floor.

Eric Gordon couldnt drive without a foul call let alone Harden. It was uncanny. The shift after CPs injury makes some people think refs helped GSW out, but Houston stopped driving. How you shoot that many threes in a half is beyond me. They honestly forgot how to make plays without CP. If he don't get injured they get a ring

@@HaruPH1 I can’t tell in this angle, but another commenter said GP II didn’t actually pass the ball, Van Fleet poked the ball out from under him, but it was narrated as if GP II made the pass. That makes sense if true because GP II knows you call time out in this scenario. But the game was lost before that point anyway. Warriors know they have to beat the officials in every game to win, they can’t leave it in the hands of the refs because they will lose most of the time when they do.

The reason the refs didn’t favor GS at the end was because of Draymond Green. He grabbed (and tackled) an opponent from behind in the closing minutes of that game. The refs reviewed that play and called it correctly BUT you could tell there was a look of disgust on their face when addressing the crowd. We could even see an uncomfortable look from Curry because he knew THAT ISN’T BASKETBALL - it’s thuggery. There is just so much bad defense in the paint these days. So many of these highlights were dudes flying through a wide open paint for an easy uncontested dunk. The 3 second defensive rule needs to go. When combined with today's spacing, it just makes the paint too hard to defend.

The last time the ref made a mistake, we lost to Boston in 2021 when we were one game away from the playoffs because the last 2 min reports clearly shows they made a mistake. Refs are like Bots, you tell them they're wrong, they get some new batteries and a new software installed and its now back onto its duties instead of actually becoming smarter.
