As a NSW Supporter we are the ones to blame. Every time the media dishes out and mocks queensland as the worst or they're gonna get beaten. They Don't, It just fuels their aggression and makes them play harder Happened in 1995, late 2000s and 2020. Andrew Johns was mocked in Game 1 & 2 2003 and game 2 2005 and dominated

If NSW just shut up pre game and stop believing and creating media hype and focused on just turning up with pride and passion in the jersey, make better selections in players and positions, and link up for each other like QLD do then they may start winning a few more series, and that's coming from a NSW person, all respect and credit to Bennett and QLD, they wanted it more! @Clutch7 Yeah true, although i must say a true champion team should not rely on one playmaker star as nobody is immune to injury and a good coach would have it covered with a deep bench, but Freddy did not, he made bad selection choices....he got out coached by two legends Bennett and Meninga....you're right about free flowing attack and offloads, it's a Bennett trait i see and yeah Rabbits play like that, we also had bad line speed, no urgency, Queensland played off the cuff and we were not ready for it... and no creative plays, just played same as game 2 and we got tackled by groups of twos and threes, Freddy's real test will be what he does next, his true test as an Origin coach will be in what he does for us next year......if not much changes then Queensland will be set to dominate again for at least the next 8 to 10 years......the blues just do not get the origin passion pride, spirit and mongrel grit as much as the Queenslanders do, and i do not think they respect the opposition team and they underestimate them as seen this year!! You alwys need to respect your opponent and play as if you're playing against the dynasty team!!

meh i'm a die hard QLDer but lets face it, we got pretty lucky to win. Cameron Murray injured on his first run game 1. Tedesco knocked out early in the decider. IT was a super human effort by the bois to get up but game 2 showed the difference in talent between the two teams. But that said a lot of our young debutants showed they're up for origin. Tino, Collins, Brimson, Coates, Capewell, Grant were all enormous for QLD. Come next year the gap "on paper" won't be as big i reckon.

Easy: 1) Freddy coming up against a coach who's been coaching 1st grade since Freddy was in high school. If it was a regular State of Origin series mid-season and Walters is still coach, it's doubtful Qld win. Kevvie would be too busy hiring coach-whisperers and making a conscious effort to refer to NSW as "the other mob" thinking it'll give them some kind of an advantage 2) Qld having a fit Munster for Game 3 to run the show in the halves, while NSW captain (and their best player) Teddy goes off with an HIA just 20 minutes into game 3 3) Freddy's bench rotation. WTF did Nathan Brown only play the last 10 minutes? Needed more front-rowers on the bench to come on as a fresh set of legs and stop Qld making up the metres.
