Bauss is actually smart and has good mechanics. He understands that the game is not deathmatch. KDA really does not matter if you are controlling the pacing of the game and your team can capitalize.

Even tho his kda is neg during the game, he's taking away their champ value from objectives. He'll die at a bigger cost to the enemy side due to fighting disadvantage. Makes up kills with macros and constant pressure. A true top laning strategy.
