Gas regulations are what limits the designers and engineers to design a car the way they wanted, but corporate wants them to make a high production car as cheaply as possible so that they can sell it as a high as possible. There is no real passion in almost all car makers anymore, they just want them to be efficient an make as much money as possible.

@Mr. Big Sure, right now I am designing one sportive bumper for one standart car that will receive a better engine, in VW it is known as "R" version like the golf R, we want to make a really mean looking bumper so we start with the styling making it look nice, than start the requirements: we have to protect the crash bean, respect some angles to protect pedestrians, then there is some cooling for parts of the engine, air curtain for better aerodynamics, specific location of the headlamps so they will be difficult to damage in a crash so we can lower the insurance costs, we have to place front camera, radar and tow hook without making it look ugly... it goes on and on, in the end is very difficult to keep the spirit of the first sketch, there is one part of this presentation on the Top Gear that explains our everyday life very well, it is placed at 2:08 of this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5C2eo2ceNt0gMk

I am still looking for a Song on the up to speed Ford probe video and haven't found it because they don't credit their sources wich is almost scummy when you think about it considering that donut media is like a big corporation/industry. whatever you wan't to call it it's not a small time individual driven channel they have a team, sponsors, merch and more and they won't even credit The mostly unknown music creators they take their music from. Not blasting only donut media for this because there are loads of other channels doing the same thing but donut does get more shame points than smaller one person channels because it can't be that hard for so many people working on one video to remember crediting their sources.

Every production car based on a concept is always toned down for production. The thing needs to work and meet regs lol
@racewild92305 жыл бұрын
@@SUPERBLAH28 but you can still make it look very close to the concept! Just look at the Lexus lc500, on of the reasons I love that car is its style.
@SUPERBLAH285 жыл бұрын
@@racewild9230 That's true, but it depends how close the concept car was to reality in the first place. The Supra concept was just too 'out-there' to be anything close to production

Some renders are nice. Only the ones who start saying “it’s a render” Well the cancer of instagram are those page who repost renders with cringy captions trying to fool people, shit that’s cancer. Like those Taiwanese or Russian weird people promote that, idk is weird.

Performance divided by price drove all the cybertruck design. It's going to be the absolute best value in the trucking world. That's why people will love it. Brilliant engineering. Brilliant use of material. Brilliant hacking style.

I work in car design and I've been following these artists as well. I'm not sure their influence is affecting traditional design yet, but it definitely is causing ripples in automotive content development for OEMs, Media, content creators, gaming, offline meets, movies, tuning industry, even race cars etc etc. I'm glad to see this video and not seeing this trend alone.

I love these renders a bunch and really think every single artist listed and not listed has extraordinary talent! It inspired me to do a sci-fi/bosozoku/hotboi build for my Cruze that's still in progress.

I'm glad you decided to cover these highly influential and artistic individuals and obvious car lovers! I have a sincere admiration and appreciation for their hard work and talent. If I had a Pinky's worth of their skill set, I would be able to draw a lot of the images for which I create mental pictures! For now, I am totally comfortable using photography as my medium of choice to share visual mental pictures a physical elements with others!

I forget where, but in the US release it was taco Bell, there was another country release or a few where they changed all the scenes to say pizza hut instead.

Yeah. Definitely Taco Bell in the States. Although, both were (still are?) owned by Yum! Brands, so it's just different product placement for the same empire.

In the show a man who was working as a state alchemist researcher was coming up on the deadline to produce results to have his research funded for another year by making a chimera. But it’s impossible with out the philosopher stone. So he cheated by fusing his only daughter and the family dog. Very creepy and sad
