Joanna Dennehy was also convicted to life in prison, the same as Hindley and West. She was convicted in February 2014 after killing three men and attempting to kill two more. Edit to add: Dennehy tried to kill Rose West while in prison, to the point that West had to be moved for her own safety.
@DrT07053 жыл бұрын
I usually don't condone violence but being familiar with the crimes of both of those women, attacking Rose in prison was probably the most vaguely useful thing Joanna did for society in her life.
@ryansheehan94623 жыл бұрын
I was checking to see if anyone had mentioned this when I found your comment. Also, just my opinion but I don’t think Dennehy’s attempt to kill West had anything to do with being useful, I’ve read it was that she was trying to become the “alpha female” of the prison. Bear in mind, this is the same woman who “apologized” for her attempted murders, not because she was sorry that she gravely injured someone but because she was sorry that she was unsuccessful in also killing them.

Sexual abuse does a lot to a child's mind, Rosemary just continued on what her father had taught her. She grew up under it, so it likely warped her understanding of sex and consent. Young Rose was sexually abused by her father Bill Lette repeatedly. He knew that she was slower than the others which was probably the result of the ECT Therapy her mother, Daisy Letts had received whilst pregnant with Rose. There is no excuse for Rose’s actions, she is pure evil. However, her father definitely altered her personality for the worst as well as Fred. Up until his murder spree hit the papers, we never locked our doors, day or night, and always kept our garage door open too. He permanently changed that - everything became locked at nighttime because of him (and then in the 90s, everything began being locked during the day too). She was assaulted by her own father this in no way justifies the f ed things she did but it honestly seems to be connected to why she committed those horrific acts

Every time I see pics of Fred West, I'm reminded of a horrendous neighbour we used to have because they look so alike! He was outwardly horrid to everyone and so was his wife, euch 'shudders'

Listening to their daughters book atm its absolutely heartbreaking 😢i think their children carry so much pain from their parents evil ways. The poor woman who lost their lives 😢😢

So your at a bus stop and by chance you meet the love of your life(you don't know this just yet). Things move fast and eventually your together alone, with things about to become intimate, you ask "So what really turns you on?"

Done. I can’t finish it.

This is absolutely horrific. However, at the same time, I kind of feel sorry for Rosemary. She was f*cked up by her own father and then her "lover" f*cked her up even more. She probably would have benefitted from therapy.

This case was way worse than the Moors Murders for plenty of reasons: 1. Higher kill count as well as more crimes committed during murders. 2. Brady and Hindley never had children (luckily) whereas Fred and Rose tortured their children similarly to their victims. 3. The sadism was highly worse in this case. Overall, each cases are deeply evil and sickening however, I don’t think Hindley should have the “most evil woman in Britain” title, if anything, Rose should have that title. With Hindley, she finally confessed her guilt in 1985 which would make it easier for the families to process the trauma (Hindley is evil and sickening) but Rose has never admitted her guilt and shame which makes her even worse. Also, Rose was definitely worse than Fred. I believe eventually Fred would have stopped but slowly whereas Rose was so far gone she probably would have taken over and may have killed Fred. Let them rot in hell :)

I live in Gloucestershire and driving past where the house once stood is a weird feeling, especially at night. You can also visit the cell he killed himself in at Gloucester prison. It’s some scary sh*t

There are a lot of people out there with blood on their hands. By all accounts, that house was tiny. The rooms were like cells, so you will convince me that none of those "regulars" be it tenants, clients or friends, did not see or hear anything.

I remember vividly the start of the news bulletins on this story, subsequent news released in the days after just got darker and more and more depraved. Truly evil people.

You said ‘Fred was convicted of.. murders’. He wasn’t convicted. He was charged and was in prison awaiting trial when he killed himself.
