Actually it's plenty of money because you don't have to spend it, and you get free meals and free exercise and new skills. You have a big diverse social opportunity as well. Birth certs are a rarity in AFG. They used to use the “tascara” system. Everyone lies about their age. Families don’t even know their family members true age/birthdate, sometimes. Also, they’re on a different calendar. It’s like year 1400 over there. I know. I was the first one of my family born in the US. Most of my family don’t know their exact dates. Some made up their birth cert for benefits in 80’s 90’s in USA when they got here lol. This guy is truly late 20’s. But great story nonetheless!

You need to start a pod cast. I’m currently in Poland deployed trying to learn more and I’ve been a fan since I first shipped out to basic a few years back. But please start a podcast with some microphones and a background perhaps maybe a lil like Joe Rogan, but I can see this being a really good niche KZbin route which you can take. Highly enjoy it!

I’m a military police/ 31 B and I’m national guard but I agree that the pay should definitely be increased especially with the huge shift going on with 31 B in particular, making it harder to rank up. Even though I’m still 18 years old I don’t think it’s going to be easy to benefit off the army

So many haters in here that don’t get it. This is what every wealthy person says and this works inside or outside the military. Educate yourself and get around the right people. Find a skill and invest in yourself. Take action and trust in the process with a solid plan. Make money. The military is just a source of income to get this process started and a way to network.

Thank you Aaron for your videos. Especially this one, I'm joining the military because in my years in the private sector I couldn't find a suitable environment. Weather it was dodgy coworkers who always chewed on each other or management that gave no fucks for their employees I couldn't rest or be at peace with the situations and I was going crazy trying to change the places I was at. So I'm joining the military in hopes that not only will they instill in me the discipline I need to keep myself straight but the qualities of leadership I hope to use to live a good life and bring positive changes to the world.

Get an extensive eye exam. I was pursuing WOFT in the army, basically a helicopter pilot program, but I got disqualified because of my eyes. If you’re interested in joining the military in general I would highly suggest getting your eyes checked for Keratoconus because that’s an automatic disqualifier for the military as a whole, but if your recruiter knows how to finesse you could still secure a job in the military that doesn’t require constant eye exams. Hope you find that useful and good luck out there!

Some advice from a 27 year old. Get life experiences like getting cheated on, living on your own, struggle financially, learn to fight, jump out of a plane, f*** the police, etc. And get over all that before joining the military so you can have some backbone and no regrets and know your goals even after you get out. Long term goals are important, but without short term goals (within weeks or months of each other), you can't seem to reach your long term goals if you're not motivated enough by achieving the short term goals. Whatever you want to do is up to you or who you want to marry and such, just make sure you write most of your story first before trying to settle down. But as a man, you never settle down. You should always keep your ambition and drive. How do you want your children to see you. Think about that one.

You can trust me. Get some life experiences first before joining so you don't come out to uncertainty and experiencing bad times like getting cheated on or struggling financially living on your own. You want to get all of that out of the way before joining, so you can come out and still have the drive to make new goals. Don't go in at 18. You're mentally and physically weak as shit at 18. You haven't even grasped adulthood. Get your mental and physical attributes toughened up, minimize your belongings and get ready to take on a new adventure away from the western bullshit that they got you used to. There's a wife out there overseas waiting for you. Women wait at the finish line for the winners. This will help you understand your path as a man is to have purpose and not be a loser. It will motivate you.
