Hats off to Mr Naveen and encouraging to see his positive and optimistic attitude in spite of his challenges. Also to you for bringing this to the public. On his specific investment approach, I suppose a 12% return from bonds is only available for corporate bonds and not government bonds. Unfortunately they come with a reasonable amount of credit risk and that is why he said he does not depend or rating agencies who do a pathetic job. It would be good to know of reliable tools and sources to do a good analysis and pick such bonds because none of the other available options in debt like FD or debt schemes provide returns that can beat inflation and like he said equity is not for income it’s for wealth creation.

The 2008 Great Financial Crisis is of AAA bonds defaulting. I personally look at a range of financial ratios because of a limited trust in rating agencies. Need is to convince myself of safety
