Thanks! I normally look for outliers that are doing something cool at high ranks. E.g if they play an off meta champ or have a special build then those are the ones im most interested in, so I think everyone else will be interested too :) Much more interesting to hear about something unique than a common meta champ getting to a high rank. Also I like making videos that give people something new to try in LoL and get excited about it Researching + finding players takes the longest out of any part of the video so i appreciate when people suggest stuff.

My meme build for Darius consists of all movement speed runes possible, youmumu, glory (now chemtank), spirit visage / force of nature, dead man's plate and cleaver (but with new items I'm more into wit's end since it gives ms after hitting someone). It might not be super effective but it's fun to run into ADC with the speed of an angry rammus

Can someone explain the flashes at 0:44 and 2:09, it doesn't look normal and seems like they don't really move. Esp in the first clip renek was most likely dead to bleed, and the second clip seemed really close if he could outrun lillia. Although if u needed to flash it seemed a little shallow, there wasn't any danger of flash even a little bit deeper so he doesn't need to chase for the last auto

I have mained Darius for awhile, but don't have enough patience for that brush strat. I go HoB Darius with nimbus cloak & Gathering Storm. Gathering Storm single handedly takes away Darius's scaling problems by becoming an assassin late game with extra beef & resets. I prefer righteous glory 3rd most games. Although I quit LoL & haven't played in S11 at all, don't like the new items & TT is gone. Too bad Riot waited until S10 to fix the HoB glitch where his W reset didn't give him another HoB auto.

comment like he picks the right fight or he has patient without elaborating how he does so are literally useless. I appreciate other comments like on his rune. One thing that is wrong about one of your comment is Volibear especially the reworked one can dual and sustain against darius really well due to his shield. Plus if Voli takes ghost and flash, he can stay on darius really well and with his ult and shield from his e, the match up is really tough for darius. But all and all it all depends on players' play style and skill level.

@@zezk5819 Actually i managed to win a lot of games where i had a 0-15 bot lane and a 1.8 midlane. Also a 1-6 jungler. If you can get really fed in top you can carry. It's hard, you need a good team that can shield you/heal you and also you need CC in your team.

Darius is played pretty consistently across every elo and actually does worse in lower elos, peaking around plat and diamond. Also team fights are one of Darius’ greatest strengths and not a weakness and this is also why he does well across all elos. In lower elos Darius players win through his powerful lane while higher level Darius players win through skill in macro during team fights. He does incredibly well into these fights due to the disorganized nature of team fights in soloq.

In terms of stats for this, his pickrate slowly decreases from silver to challenger at every rank(9.8% -> 2.8%). In terms of win% on u.gg he does peak at dia by 1%. Same thing for ban rate, highest silver decreasing as ranks increase. It is hard to tell how reliable the stats are since they arent official and only account for the current patch. Honestly there are too many variables to say where he is best or worst so maybe I shouldnt have said it. If you only judge by individual ones then you can make a case for either way but adding them all together doesnt help haha.

For the teamfighting, youre right that he is good in teamfights, but the video specifically said he struggles with mobility and solo carrying fights as he cannot catch enemies. Ghost flash almost completly fixes this issue and makes him as strong as you say, thats kinda the point of the video :)

A low elo stomper would be more like nasus, a champion that has a really good winrate in lower elos but horrible playrate and horrible winrate in higher elos
