DD2 still holds up today in my eyes, its sense of speed, the amount of cars on track and its physics engine were truly unmatched on PS1. Agreed about it being hard as nails though, one wrong move and you're in the barrier!!

I remember buying the second one on a Saturday morning, then playing it all day and night until the sun came up - loving every second of it!! Only stopping when I heard my mum getting up in the morning!! Funnily enough though, I don't think I ever went back to it - overall prefering the first one... 👍

I used to love playing this game! Me and my mates used to take turns racing and I definitely remember it being a lot harder than the first game! Thanks for the memories :)

I played DD1, DD2 and DD64 have to admit that I liked DD64 more, I feel its unique racing mechanic, not focused on winning the race makes it more real towards the game's premise

Yes, the original was being shown to an unusually low amount of people and I've read that it could've been because KZbin's algorithm sensed a 'violent' word in the title. As a one-off experiment (and it really is a one-off) I've re-uploaded it without mentioning 'Destruction' to see if it makes a difference 👍🏻
