No matter what. This transfer will never happen, except in my dreams of course. At lb, I feel like malacia would be the way forward. Its true that we dont know what to expect with him considering he's been out for over a year now and hasn't established hismelf enough, but he's 25, in his prime and can still improve his game. I want Theo Hernandez to be Manchester United's next Left Back but I just don't think that Ashworth, Wilcox and Vivell will go after him because of his age profile. Yes he still has years of good football ahead of him but they seem to favor a younger age profile and someone they can mould themselves into their system rather than the finished product. I see them going for someone like Leece's LB Patrick Dorgu or Milos Kerkez. Both players will be in their early 20s and have a well rounded skillset which United will covet. Don't get me wrong, I hope they get Hernandez and for the right price and if Ashworth, Wilcox and Vivell decide he is they guy they want then by all means go for him.

Possibly not an issue if you sign them for free, so think it could be overlooked in those instances. At 25 and under if you manage it right the player should always have a value over the contract, apart from the odd disaster.

Luke Shaw 2020/21 played 47 games 2021/22 - 27 games 2022/23 47 games 2023/24 15 games. I don't get this Luke Shaw is always injured. Luke Shaw would be fit know if he wasn't rushed back from injury twice !!!! If United thought left-back was a problem they would have signed a left-back and not signed Mazaroui. Shaw and Malacia are both good left-backs who are good on the ball, along with Harry Amass. Dalot is good on the ball, AWB was not good on the ball, teams targeted him. That's why ETH sold AWB then signed Mazaroui.
