Worth noting is that in full lenght races you have to double or triple stin due to not having enough tyres to change them at everystop. Bonus point for the majestic glick gracefully gliding trough corner in the video❤

Yes good point das👍 I think you know what happened after that corner in Sebring ;)

@@alexkayracing It's the same for GTE ? Future video guide ? ^^

@@Niko_Dragovich I can’t say for sure as I don’t drive that car class but I would assume it should be similar. When the gt3 release I will do similar video for them

Great overview. How does the tyre pressure impact their temperature and performance? I always struggle to choose the right pressure before the race.
@alexkayracing3 күн бұрын
Hi bro thanks for watching. At the moment the best way to use the pressure is always set them to the lowest and forget about it. In the future however this may change, that’s why I didn’t mention it in the guide just in case that info becomes incorrect in the future
@JakubPuchalski3 күн бұрын
@@alexkayracing Interesting, because whenever I drive with the lowest value, Jim tells me the tires are too cold for the entire race. Only if I raise their pressure by +10-20 the temperature gets to the desired level. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or drive too softly.

@@JakubPuchalski I don’t think crew chief is fully functional for LMU yet so it’s still buggy

Great video as always! Can the tyre pressures be adjusted to fine tune the temps into the optimum range?
@alexkayracing3 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching mate! At the moment the best thing to do with tire pressures is set them to the lowest amount and just forget about them; it’s an rfactor2 thing. This could change in the future however as the game is always being updated, I didn’t want to mention the pressures in the video for that reason in case the info becomes incorrect in the future.

Great video, Alex. Quick question, how are you able to achieve such high top speeds?. I struggle to hit 300kph on the back straight at Spa.
@alexkayracing3 күн бұрын
It could possibly be the setup, I use the HYMO esports setups. If you are using the default setup it could be that the wing is too high or the spring rates need to change. I do not have too much knowledge on that advanced setup stuff yet
@kennetha65942 күн бұрын
@@alexkayracing ok thanks, I'll look into it. Cheers!

For 15 minute races, say around spa. Is medium still the best bet?
@alexkayracing3 күн бұрын
For 15 minutes I would say soft tire is okay because that’s a very short race 👍
