Yes we do tithe. Early in our marriage we were tested. We were 8 months into our new home, had a 5 month old baby when my wife was laid off. Then 3 months later I was laid off. New home, new baby, neither of us working, yet we never stopped tithing the entire time. It was not easy. But after looking back we saw we never missed a bill or a meal and was even able to loan to others despite being down ourselves. God proved Himself faithful, so to this day we never miss giving. The Lord has never forsaken us or had us begging bread.

I started tithing last year (on my gross income, before taxes) and I co-sign all of this! I was a student (recently finished) and thought at first that I couldn't tithe because my income was so low - yet I would spend on frivolous things like eating out or Starbucks. Once I decided that as soon as my pay came in, I would pay God first, then pay myself (savings) second, it really made a difference in how I felt and how I handled my money. I'm much more mindful now about how I spend and it forced me to not just budget, but stick to the budget. God provided and continues to provide. I started receiving money from unexpected places. I was offered an incredible job I didn't apply for and miraculously found a way to graduate early. God is always working.

For me by Tithing l learned several lessons about God. The first lesson to put God first or the first fruit belongs to God. Before l pay any bills or spend money on other things l try to tithe first. In the beginning l wasn’t giving my first fruit but with time & His patience l learned to put Him first. Lesson #2 Tithing was being obedient to God. So tithing & obedience went hand and hand. #3. God ask us to test Him in this area. I’ve had raises, savings keep increasing, and becoming more disciplined with what He has bestowed on me. 3 years ago l paid off my home & car. Let me tell you. I work in the entertainment industry and struggled for years. Work was scarce. Once I started tithing and trusting God, He brought the increase! 🙌🏾I’m in tears just thinking about it. God is soooo good! I give Him the glory and praise! Tithing has drastically transformed my career and income. It has also made me more generous and humble. It’s most definitely a heart posture and a God-given practice that has never changed. I now make 4 times more after I started tithing and have not long ago made nearly 5 times more. I struggled UNNECESSARILY for so long when all I had to do was obey God and follow His principles of tithing and sowing. Now no matter how tempting it can be sometimes, I can’t go back to not tithing. It’s a risk I’m not willing to make. I’m trying to convince my family to do the same to break the spirit of poverty off of them! Tithing is God’s system of financial protection (like the FDIC). It insured your money. It also God’s way of multiplying what we have supernaturally almost effortlessly. It gives us the grace to operate in the POWER TO GET WEALTH! We tap into God’s supernatural resource.

I do not tithe, I’ve just always had the mentality that I’ll do so once I start earning money consistently in my life or when I am financially stable. Yes I do tithe. I pay God first before I/“he” takes care of my bills. We have an app for my church so I have it on auto pay to be taken out weekly. I just started back tithing consistently because I found a new church home and I saw where they money was going (rebuilding the children’s ministry, giving back to the community etc...) so I felt comfortable. I also had to change my mindset because I was also stingy with money at times. Tithing has changed my heart posture as I want to give more and in other ways. I started keeping care packages in my car to pass out to the homeless when I would see them. I will pay for the meals of a car or two behind me when I’m in the drive thru etc. I literally ask God (most mornings), “How can I be a blessing to someone today?” My new church home and tithing has ONLY benefited my life. Hi friends😊 Actually the bible asks for us to give the tithe to the church (the Storehouse) Malachi 3 vs 8-10. Giving to an orphanage, the poor, homeless etc...counts as an offering ( Cause Tithe and offering are different). The Bible calls the tithe first fruit, so I give the first 10 percent before I do anything else to avoid "borrowing" tithe, as it isnt mine, its God's😁 Actually, All the money belongs to God, but He gives me all of 90% and only asks for 10%... Thats a great deal! I believe it's also important to give the church to keep the doors of the church open. The Church is also essential, A spiritual hospital that feeds the soul, not just the belly. Love this video🌻😘🙏

I tithe. Tithing allows me to trust God in a different way by giving back to Him something that is tangible & highly valued. Additionally, I realized that when I tithe, God gives me back WAY more than you could ever give to Him. Tithing is solely about your heart posture.
@miaSwaggin3 жыл бұрын
Yes I tithe, I love it and have been doing it for YEARS (for God so loved the World that he gave). I also teach my kids to do the same. God has given, so it should be easy for us to do the same. He actually placed the 10th in, so we can give it back to him. What we need to understand is, we can't afford not to tithe. I teach my kids by showing them a closed fist and tell them, nothing can get in or out when it closed. Plus, in tithing, we are actually being in partnership with God. It's a sense of Trusting God with EVERYTHING (just as Adam/Eve would have been doing had they not eaten from the tree of knowledge of good/evil). God wants to be first - that first choice (thou shall have no other God before me). He wants to take the care and worry by managing things (including our finances) for us (cast all your cares on him because he cares for you). He wants to be our Father and being able to supply all our needs according to his riches in Glory. We think we can handle it and have a better wait but no. God can take something that would take a long time to happen, happen in a lesser time. All by cooperating with him. When Adam/Eve didn't chose the tree of Life (God), it came with a price that we are still dealing with and toiling is one of them. In not tithing, it's like telling God, I can handle it better than you can. It took a minute for me to completely understand but seeking God asking him to help you will be the start. When God, who can not lie, made a covenant/oath - what he said will come to pass (expect it). His Word is TRUE and he loves us, not wanting us to fail. His Word is fool proof. When you apply his word (Hearer/Doer - Faith without Works) His word has to accomplish what it was sent to do. Malachi 3:1-12 gives so much explanation and tells you the benefits of tithing and if you don't tithe, you miss out on those benefits. God still loves us (as he did Adam/Eve), but there's still a consequence to anything when it's outside of the will of God. All in all, remember that what you have, is God's all along, so in obedience to his word, cooperate with God and come out on Top. He always gives more because we can't out beat his giving.

Go to a man made temple and you are then a sinner. “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:24-25 NKJV From this one verse of scripture many evil souls have convinced the majority of believers that God commanded His followers to assemble weekly at a man made temple and that they need to have some mortal preacher explain God’s truth to the congregation. This is a perfect example of how mankind has twisted the word of God to justify a wicked belief and tradition. Today’s churches are not scriptural and they are all purely evil because believers have been deceived by the devil into following Old Covenant ways that no longer apply. In the Old Testament you had the temple and the high priest and that is where you went to worship God. But once Jesus came He presented us with a New Covenant and a new way to worship Him. Jesus related to us in John 4 that the new and the only new way to now worship God was in our Spirit and in truth and that it was neither at a place or at the temple in Jerusalem. But yet the majority of believers still worship at a temple (church) with a high priest (preacher) and they fail to understand that this Old Covenant way no longer applies. “Woman,” Jesus replied, “believe me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”” John 4:21-24 NIV The worship places all over this earth prove once again how mankind has gone astray. These man made structures are not of God and they are just another deception concocted by the devil. KJV Bible translators changed the Greek word Ecclesia which meant a body of Believers who congregate into Kuriakos which in Old English was known as churche or now in its present church. Most believers of today fail to understand that Jesus is your high priest and mediator, and it is not some misguided man preaching at a local church or religion. Just think how many religions and churches there currently are and then ask yourself why they all deliver a different message. So do you honestly believe that a God of order would ever establish such a travesty? No, they are simply of the devil who is the god of confusion and who desires to lead you astray. “Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary. A tabernacle was set up. In its first room were the lampstand and the table with its consecrated bread; this was called the Holy Place. Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place, which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant. Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now. When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry. But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance. The Holy Spirit was showing by this that the way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still functioning. This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshiper. They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings-external regulations applying until the time of the new order. But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.” Hebrews 9:1-12, 15 NIV In scripture Jesus stated that we were not to be like the hypocrites who went to the synagogues (temples or churches) or who stood on the streets so that others could see. He instructed us to be alone in our rooms and here we were to pray. So what was the reason for us to worship like this? Because you were to talk to Him and worship Him in your Spirit and to use His word of truth. Your body is now the temple of God and Jesus dwells within. “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.” Matthew 6:5-7 NIV Jesus is alive and He dwells inside every believer. He will then teach and guide you through His Holy Spirit if you understand how to test the Spirits. So any believer who worships at a church or ministry fails to realize that they are deceived, and they do not understand that their body is now the temple of God. And so they display their ignorance of scripture and they prove why they are of the many who have chosen the road to destruction. “It is written in the prophets, ‘And they shall all be taught by God.’ Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” John 6:45 NKJV “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? I Corinthians 6:19 NKJV “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” I Corinthians 3:16 NKJV “God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.” Acts 17:24-25 NKJV “However, the Most High does not dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: ‘Heaven is My throne, And earth is My footstool. What house will you build for Me? says the LORD, Or what is the place of My rest?” Acts 7:48-49 NKJV In closing there is not one scripture where God ever commanded or articulated that His followers should worship Him at some temple or gathering on the first day of the week! Sunday church services are simply man made traditions that were established by misguided mortal men and they are not of God. “Jesus replied, “And why do you break the command of God for the sake of your tradition?” Matthew 15:3 NIV One final note, read 2 Samuel 7:1-16 and 1 Chronicles 17:1-14 and you will find that God did not even want a temple built under the Old Covenant and that it was David who desired it.

I have found that tithing is very much about sacrificially giving. God doesn’t need our money, but he desire that we sacrifice ourselves and other things we hold so important, to him; just like he did for us. And by sacrificially giving to him, you also learn and develop the discipline to give to others without expectations. It’s not easy when you start especially when you’re budgeting your bills, debt and etc, but I know this is a matter of obedience and honor.

Tithing has been a blessing. My fam don't actually know I tithe (kinda baiting myself now I put it on the net) but I was the only one in my family who was being paid Full during the lockdown despite my family employment circumstances. I believe it was due to tithing and God not allowing the devourer to take away anything because I had planting s seed (by His grace) It's all about faith and I want to thank God for His Lovingkindness. He really covered our family in that season!!

I'm happy that you brought up tithing if you are living abroad. People forget about us traveling folk that travel for work. We dont have church that we go to because either we are living in a country where there is no Christian church for hundreds of miles or it's simply not a Christian country and we are constantly moving. So thank you for that. I didnt grow up Christian so I dont have a childhood church but I do have a church that was my church back home in L.A. so now I know I can tithe to that church. Since I consider that my home church. Thanks for the video and testimony!

If God leads you, you can tithe to the homeless on the street via meals & money. Don't worry about what happens with the money as long as it's from your heart. Yes, I'm a tither and then some. Glory to JESUSSSSSSS for changing my heart!✝️🙌🏾😭

You can tithe by choosing a church of your choice or a organization of your choice to spread blessings from God. Also you can type by buying groceries for families in need it’s a pandemic and some people have several children that are pretty hungry in the Bible in the old testament they used to tithe with food. Most of the time when you pay tithes to a church they usually buy groceries to give out to families in need so you can just do it yourself to help families in need as well.

I thought this was a great video. Yes, I have started tithing again. I used to tithe faithfully and consistently for years. However, I encountered a difficult incident in my life that changed my income and I panicked and began to hoard money out of fear. As a result of not remaining faithful I lost not only money, but also overall life's discipline and structure. As I quieted the negative thoughts and listened to that still quiet voice within and stopped with all the questions and I heard to just (start) with tithing again. I also heard fast. My mindset is shifting and I trust it will naturally turn my life around. I have always believed in God, but years ago got to know him and then felt distant. Now I know we are reuniting. I feel hopeful again.

So I didn’t used to tithe. But I used to give. So it was specific amount of money, how I felt lead I would give. I would also take out 10% and disrepute it amongst my friends kids in their bank accounts. Now that I’m grounded in a church I tithe (2021) exactly what you said is how I feel! I can practically put my money in God’s hands. I still give to other and my friends kids and godchildren but I feel even happier when I see the works of my church knowing I may or may not have contributed. Either way God be glorified!

The church I used to go thought me so much how tithes so important I was giving out of my little no matter what God bring me to levels where I could give more and he brought me even higher and I really can't believe I migrate started earning more I get caught up with friends and influences causes me to do things before giving my tithe plus I wasn't going church kept saying when I go back home I will some up a 10th of my tithe for the pass months n its like I couldn't see what I worked for but I know why its say if you don't give you robbed God I ask for forgiveness and being faithful to him again guys I do recommend give back to God and trust him it really works I never wanna rob God again. (Mal 3:10 Bring all the tithe and offering to the storehouse and test me now and see if I will not open the window of heaven upon you that you may not have enough room enough to receive it) this scripture keeps me confident that God got me.

I can agree with this so much. I use to always be very selfish and only concerned with my needs and wants until God revealed to me that I need to give more and step outside of myself and I was obedient to what he revealed and my life changed in a matter of weeks. God showed me so much increase and now I give with a happy heart and no longer have that selfish mindset. It definitely changed my heart posture before changing anything else. This has made me a much happier person all together knowing that I am here to give to others. My favorite thing to say now is "The more I get, the more i GIVE"! The vision is so much bigger than me and I am grateful God see us as great stewards! God bless!

Yes I started tithing consistently this year but I’ve been a member of my church for a while and I was up and down let’s say sketchy with actually giving my 10% consistently. I was nervous thinking about my bills my student loans it just inhibited me however I just give to God what is his this 2021 and I’m trying my best to continue to believe he will meet all my needs.

They lost their job, was barely getting by, etc. I been tithing ever since. Even when i thought it was hard, or even I had forgot when factoring in my budget for the month. I have never went without. I used to tithe consistently years back but I've fallen off the last 4 years, honestly. I own the fact that I was not living for God and even got into an ungodly marriage so tithing was nowhere in my mind. I'd been focusing on getting my life back together since everything happened, though. Ironically, last night I prayed about surrendering my life again to God and tithing was one of the first words I received during that prayer. Then I see this video! Thank you for sharing!

We tithe but not to a church anymore. Our previous congregation didn't give to others or use the church building except sundays. My husband and I always took people into our home, helped with their rent, groceries, gas, etc. So we use our tithe money for those who come into our life that need that help. Last year I worked at a ministry and most of my check went right back into the ministry to help. Now I am home so our finances are more stretched. I thought of stopping our tithe because we didn't have it but I decided a few months back that it was such a source of joy to be able to help someone or even have lunch with a homeless guy on the side of the road. I didn't want to not have a budget for that joy.
