This was a good tutorial. I have never done this before and had a little struggle getting the headlight out (use a screwdriver for assistance). But I was told to never touch the bulb or it will not work. You might want to add that. Thanks!

Just did this on my wife's 2008 cobalt and what they dont tell you is that underneath the headlight assembly there are two retaining clips much like the ones near the bushing however they are attatched to the headlight assembly. So for me when trying to remove the headlight assembly i had to pull up really hard to free the retaining clip but then it was a piece of cake at that point...

Just replaced mine 2010. Headlights were a pain in the butt to remove even watching multiple videos. The new ones wouldnt line up perfect either after playing with them for over 2 hours. Scatched and cracked the paint in spots on the bumper, GM should have engineered these better.
