Nice Video,just one question how do you play 1 on 1 when the defender stays far away from you and your a bad shooter
@ThincPROBasketball7 жыл бұрын
If the defender is giving you space and you can't shoot, this is a great time to utilize a shot-fake to drive and sweep by for a layup
@l4lusto9817 жыл бұрын
THINCPRO Basketball okay thank you im gonna try it
@davidhall44013 жыл бұрын
Attacking the defender's top foot and staying tight to him is a great way to get layups at the rim over taller defenders. Staying close to your defender's hip after getting past him prevents the defender from recovering and blocking the shot because you have closed off his space to move freely and get back in front. I am 5 ft 8 and I have been having a lot of success finishing at the rim over taller defenders. Also one thing about staying tight is keeping the ball low so you can use your off hand to beat the defender's hand check or him trying to poke at the ball. One thing to be aware of is that long defenders will try to stick their top foot out to force you to go by them at a wider degree so they can have a chance to get back in front.

For all those who are like : wtf? Pass fake ? It's a 1v1.he may mean 1on 1 with someone in a like 5v5 but like there's no one near u and u have to get past, because no one on ur team is open.
