Honda-Tech FTW. The item you had in your hand at 3:23, when you said “What in the tarnation is this” is part of a hood pin switch. Leftover from an old alarm.

On the used rad support you could just use a drill bit and drill all the way through because your not going to use the metal behind the rad support. The spot weld bit can be used on the car because you have to save all the metal behind it

9:28 thats the reason why if community college classes we learned to never wear gloves when working with ANYTHING that spins. material's like plastic gloves or work gloves will catch and spin along with what ever direct its going. skin how ever will just tear or rip. both not good but skin is a lot more forgiving when its not caught with anything. i watched a friend lose a finger cause he was using a wood jointer with gloves. just cheap dollar store like grip finger gloves. it took less then 2 seconds for him to lose 3/4th's of his pinky before he was able to rip it away. his adrenaline was so high he didn't feel any pain. i just looked him and said "you know thats gonna need a stitch or two right?" and he just busted out laughing and said "well fuck... i hope i can still scratch my ass tomorrow"

This video is gold! Wish I saw this about a year ago as I had to replace mine on Project CB9 as previous owner lied saying it was never in a wreck. Paid a bodyshop over $1k to replace it plus pull the frame rail over by about an inch.

I think for the front wiring (the extra wires) that you have a eudm interior harness. EU civics have turn signals on the fenders and have a switch to adjust the headlight hight. i have a usdm harness in my eu car and found these differences!

Not exactly sure what the reason is, but the sedan front end is not interchangeable with the hatch/coupe. The hatch and coupe share the same hood, fenders, headlight and corner lights. But the sedan doesn't. Is that more of the design of the bay and not the support itself? I don't know. But I'm sure you have done your homework and it will work out.

when drilling, especially with small sized drill bits, stop putting so much downward pressure on it and instead let the drillbit do the work for you. You can even see in the drilling portion of this video how bent the drill bits get with all that downward pressure you are using.
