Great job. Downloading files and locating files is an area I need to improve on so much more. That includes my MBA and iPhone. I feel like those files are usually out of order, complex and full of files that I no longer need. You did a fantastic job of explaining how easy it is to manage these files.

Thank you so much. This may happen if you are attempting to open the file in an app that does not support the file format.

Can you push and hold on the file to see if it gives you info on the type of file it is. You would need to open it with the corresponding app.

The greyed out files apparently are PDF Files. I clicked on the greyed out file and get the message that it is incorrect file format can’t open it.

What is really confusing is that there is a favorites area on Safari , then there’s favorites on Chroma and there’s the PDF files that I don’t know how to manage them, either. I’m still really confused and files are a mess.

Why are the downloads not removed from the device when you remove them from the list ? Also the downloads oblige you to use iCloud ? That does not make you wonder how creepy Apple is ?

So removing downloads from the list doesn’t remove the download it just clears the list. Delete a download from the downloads folder. You don’t have to use iCloud to download you can download to the device only. iCloud allows you to have your documents on all your devices. You don’t have to do it that way. No I don’t think Apple is creepy.

From what I heard, type OPERA in the search bar where she said you can type Chrome or Safari to see your downloads or you have to install OPERA on your phone/pad.
