Minor correction, ntg 2.5 was launched not with w211 facelift, but only with w219 facelift in 2008. Thus it is usually found only on the latest 211s. Mostly on w219 (and w164, w169, w245 and sprinters up to 2012

@@Golyamkur most likely ntg 3.0 as far as i know. W221 and w216 use their own comand lineup of ntg 3.0 and 3.5. It's more or less similar to w204-212-218 line of NTG 4.0-4.5-4.7, but somewhat more integrated to climate control and other conveniences + a bigger screen. Actually this whole line started from w221 ntg 3.0. Unfortunately a 2007 unit would most likely lack a built in Bluetooth music option (most comands before 2012 and NTG 4.5 only have a Bluetooth connection for a phone only) and it may have a "media interface +" option for Bluetooth music, but it usually works somewhat shitty compared to 2012+ models (ntg 4.5, 4.7, 5.0, 5.1) , where it is included by default. the problem seems to be in the fact that in later models you connect a phone to the same device for music and handsfree, and in earlier there are two devices, and most phones glitch a bit using two Bluetooth connections simultaneously

My ML350 is brought from the US market, is there a way to upgrade the Command software version and also add a GPS map for the middle east maps, please? Thanks for this video. I have a 2006 CLK 350 -I must have put in a bogus NAV DVD and now I can only get the MB logo on the screen. Is there any recovery for my COMAND? Can the Engineering Mode help me recover my unit?

Hello I have the NTG 2.5 version Command on my 09 SL63 AMG R230. I just installed a rear view camera for my vehicle. I don't see under Settings Rear View Camera option. When I put the car in reverse nothing happens. Do I need to update my software to get the Review View Camera section on the Settings to take it to the dealership?

The information in your intro are wrong. The 211 only had the NTG2.5 in the last model year 2009, production started as of 8/2008.

A Mercedes R property has a Samson BT30 connected in the iPod cable in gloves box. He connect the smartphone with this Bluetooth device and the Comand put in AUX, then he can listen the Spotify. He has the Comand NTG 2. I'm trying connect in my NTG 2.5 but I can't. Did anyone try??

Hi, i'm trying to connect my smartphone samsung galaxy A5 with the aps ntg 2.5 comand via the ipod cable from the glove compartment via a Samson BT30. My phone recognizes the samson and they are linked. When I play songs on my phone via Bluetooth there is no sound from the Comand. Do you have to activate something else in the command besides being the Aux screen? We have tested with several phones and it seems that the command does not want to up the volume. What can I do?

I believe 2.5 is too old for auto streaming im afraid, it can only do Bluetooth calling.

@@killerhertzmercedes is a possibility that the AUX is disconnected in the Comand setting? What I can enter in display text mode (no engineering mode) to verify the connection? The car have a Jack connection near de glove box and I tryed too but no reproduce music 🤔
