Thanx for this great cheat! Tried it today with my EV6 RWD here in Germany. Unlike in your video, there were only useful charging stations chosen along the route. Even the filter set to Ionity was taken into account, where no Ionity was available, Allego or EnBW was chosen. In this way, more than the previous two waypoints, namely up to 4, can be used. Really great!

Cheers Thomas, glad you found this useful,I will do some more testing on this because I think it has more positives than negatives. Yesterday I did try to filter just to Ionity but will give it another go

Love your curious nature Brian. Good to see this is seemingly something they are working on. Once the database is up to date, filters enabled and quality assured will be a nice additional feature. It’s a testament to Tesla’s tech staff and their database of chargers that they do this so well already.

Worked in our Soul Maxx (2022) without any errors; not that I'd use it (per se), I'm an ABRP Premium subscriber and use that for any journeys longer than an hour or two (now that it syncs our live data), but having options that mean I don't need to have my mobile/ODB-II dongle plugged in is always good.

I know and i do say in my video that the setting is not persistent. That’s why i give some tips towards the end of the video about keeping the head unit alive. Once you turn the car off you have around 20 minutes before the head unit shuts down and loses the setting. It will be great when this feature makes it into the released version without having to mess with engineering mode.

Hi Brian. Unrelated question but related to the engineering mode. Is there a website where you can check the latest versions of all software that is listed in the engineering mode? Here in Belgium, some owners had their EV6 updated by the dealer but afterwards the navigation- and infotainment-software was still one or two versions behind. Is there a way you can check if they actually did any updates by checking the software versions in the engineering mode or something else? 🤔 Thx!

The thing is: You really don't need it. I had my EV6 for 3 weeks and knew my car's range better than any app ever could.
