I love neos so much but I’m new to the hobby and keeping parameters stable in my nano was a challenge. Many shrimps succumbed to my ignorance.. some day I’ll try again and def use this method.

You're welcome! If you don't plan on mixing your own water, you can also test your ph, gh, and kh to make sure they're all in range as well. Those would require test kits though.

Shrimp in general? Ghost shrimp and amanos are fairly adaptable. As for ornamental, it's better to go with neocaridinas over caridinas.
