Deciphering the designations from a battery tester:
Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) - Starting current or "cold cranking current" is the maximum current a battery can deliver without a voltage sag below 9 volts at?18 °C for half a minute. It is this battery rating that reflects how briskly the starter will crank on a cold winter morning.
State of Charge (SOC) - Measured as a percentage, this indicates how much of the full charge is still stored in the battery. The level of charge in the battery pack, where 0% is fully discharged and 100% is fully charged.
State of Health (SOH) is a value that reflects the current state of the battery (or battery cell or battery pack) compared to its ideal state.
The units of measurement of SOH are percentages. Typically, SOH is 100% at the beginning of battery operation and gradually decreases over time, depending on operating conditions, until the battery reaches an inoperable state.
