How to check that your level is level!! This is the first step you should take when getting a new level and throughout its use. Knowing how to accurately test your level is very important
to maintaining a high standard of quality. Stay on the Level by checking your Level!!

Great video. I used to buy stabila levels and they remained very accurate during my working time. Only thing they kept getting stolen so I bought other high end levels. The Milwaukee look like good levels. I bought the Bosch electronic levels 1.2 metre and 600 millimetres. I had to calibrate and also learn how to calibrate. I was also wanting to get the stabila electronic level as I thought that would be a better level and has a light on it so you can see in poor lighting. As I had to render and float bathrooms which had poor lighting and walls had to be accurate for the wall tilers. Now, here is an interesting bit of information. During the ancient advanced civilisations, the Giza pyramid the whole of the base of the pyramid is not level, it actually follows the curvature of the earth meaning to scale of the earth and centre been slightly higher. As you know the shafts of the pyramids points to the star constellation Orion. On the bent pyramid the angle pitch and change of angle pitch was purposely built for resonating sounds. One of my fascinations was advanced ancient structures. Let's say the granite used in the kings chamber of the Giza pyramids was transported 100s of miles away from Answar. The ceiling of the kings chamber which is granite supports the rest of the pyramid. The base is also same as height. We are taking roughly 2.3 million pieces limestone and other rocks of different material some weighing 60 tonne. The box of the kings chamber is granite and how it had been cut I don't know we do not have the technology today to achieve such results. Also an interesting matter granite boxes were 100 tonne with lids some cut 20 tonne and some 30 tonne using the same granite. The true flatness was 2/10,000 of an inch accurate. Sorry for this comment it was my initial thought when watching your video. With my Bosch electronic level I would have liked one with a finer electronic set up more increments. Like I had electronic scales and had them stolen. They were 30kg capacity with 5 gram increments. I made them calibrate it to 2 gram although it jumped between 2 and 4 gram. My next scales I wanted 1 gram increments. I used to weight my material like plaster to water ratio. And for mixing oxides so I can match colour and have more consistent colours. Also for any mixing like casting plaster to water or cement to sand. Great piece of advice I may use that to calibrate my digital levels as I used to always look for appropriate places to mark my levels and make sure I turn on the same point.

Mr Economist not actually round more oblique. Like the guru mentioned wider around the equator although the earth distorts. We cannot see this we can study Saturn and other planets to see how they distort from varying pressures etc. The earth had also holes on both north and South Pole. They are not the magnetic centre and goggle earth air brush out these holes. The magnetic poles are not where the holes are. This is a reason both North Pole and South Pole are not available or accessible to the public. Other planets also have holes and so our earth is not only not flat it is hollow earth. Truth is stranger than fiction. And always fascinating. I believe the CIA formed the flat earth to instantly dismiss people's narrative on questioning NASA who are actually not associated with Government. That's an entirely different subject so I won't go there.

Nice information. I definitely learned something useful. One little nitpicking point thou: at 4.50 you checked the inverted position on the paint where I think you somehow should have made the contact points above the level. But like I said that is just nitpicking on a great video. Thank you

I usually check them in the shop before I buy them. You would be surprised how many are out! The stabila ones are always good though. You can guess which one I always buy :)

Are you sure about rotating the level? I thought you were supposed to just flip it and put in like a helicopter blade and not turn it upside down or rotate it sideways when checking for accuracy
