24:15 just a note: tables about the results colors of anions, cations, flame, gases etc tests will be given at the end of P6 chem paper ONLY(not P2, P4 and you'll hv to memorize the tests results table for that) however this video is also telling us that what those colored compounds are and we might get questioned about it, e. g. this video was naming the compounds of creamy, white and yellow precipitates of halides and the names of precipitates isn't given at the back of exam paper, remember COLORS of results r given at back, not names or formulas

@@abdullaanzi832 yup in the syllabus pg:58 it says “The Notes for use in quantitative analysis will be provided in Paper 5 and Paper 6”

@@abdullaanzi832 ONLY IN *P6* IGCSE CHEMISTRY 0620 they will definitely give us the tests along with the results (in a table format, like one column where tests are written, second where results are written, just download P6 IGCSE past papers from recent years like 2023 and you'll see at the end there's a page with all the tests and their results(also table is nothing special, by table I mean they are organized in a table form)) and they can ask us Questions related to those tests results in the Question paper, and we'll have to go at the back of the paper and copy the test results for answering(just like we do in P4 when there's a Q related to periodic table like for example asking proton no. of element, we go at the end of paper and copy the numbers and write it down as answer ) REMEMBER THESE TEST RESULTS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN TO U IN *P6* NOT P4 AND P2 P4, P6 and P2 may include QUESTIONS related to tests and their results BUT ONLY P6 GIVE ANSWERS OF TESTS RESULTS AT THE BACK OF PAPER for P2 and P4 Questions which are related to test results, you'll have to memmorize the test RESULTS in advance cuz there you'll have to answer them from memory not from the back of paper(unlike P6)

Could you clarify one thing in precipitation you said we are going to wash sodium nitrate with water to collect but how are we going to collect while it's soluble in water won't it simply dissolve in water?

It would be insoluble in water so it wont dissolve

Yes it dissolves and since it fully dissolves it can be used to make sure all the sodium nitrate is collected, normal pouring of the filtrate would leave some nano3 in the beaker so this just ensures that nun is left behind
