OMG. I’m 83 years old and so glad I finally found you. I love human faces, and drawing them with colored pencils has been an elixir for the discomforts of aging. . I’ve done a series on American presidents, some in amusing caricature, and I am now working on a series of opera stars in gratitude for the delicious sounds that accompany my drawing. How do you get a white background if you’ve smudged your paper? I made a mistake and I have a few spots on my background and I have no idea what to do. HELP😢

Oh no! The tape trick I show in this video could help a bit… but if it’s a serious smudge that might not be enough. You could try electric erasers or changing the background to a color that will his the smudge:
