Nicole, your video was exactly what I needed right now. The tracking of time studied spreadsheet is simple yet effective and helped me start chipping away at the cert I'm working on. I've made more progress in the last two weeks than I have in the last 10 months. I am glad you are settled in and making videos again. Thank you for all the great content!

@@nicoleenesseI have a question after getting the sec+ would it also be good to get into your cybersecurity program would sec+ help and be beneficial because I do believe your program is more for intermediate or is it for beginners as well?

Hi Nicole. Thank you for creating these cyber security videos & tutorials. I’m learning a lot of used information about cyber security & life planning from your KZbin channel. Please continue with your research in cybersecurity combined with your inspiring & educational motivational content. Best wishes from Dublin, Ireland. 🇮🇪

I'm procrastinating because I can't bear the thought of having to work a help desk position for a year or two before I can transition into cyber security 😢 I don't have any IT experience

Oh, and it might be even longer than two years!

don't worry helpdesk won't exist soon. AI will fully replace it

Help desk jobs are just as hard to get as Cyber jobs anyway. Just apply to both.

Some ppl have been able to get a cyber security job without working help desk . And I’m gonna be one of them. I have my security + going on 2 weeks and I’m doing an internship and I’ll apply to cyber security jobs until I land one. A few ppl I know got one without experience in tech. Just schooling.

Hello Nicole, I have a quick question. I’m about to start WGU in cyber security and information insurance. Do you think that would be the best IT degree that they offer? I have no IT experience, but I want to get into IT and cyber security really interest me. If you were to start from the beginning and you had no experience what degree at WGU would you start with? I do have the post 911 G.I. bill so my education will be free and it will pay up to my masters.

I would go with a SANS degree

@@nicoleenesse Thanks! I did look them up, but it does look like I have to bring 70 credits with me before I can start their bachelors program. It does look like a really good school. I might try and get the 70 credits they require for transfer and then see if I can switch to Sans.

Great video, as always Nicole. I've heard about this strategy before. I think it's about time to implement it. I appreciate your video(s).

Great advice for 2024! Just passed my fourth certification exam today for the GIAC Information Security Fundamentals (GISF) and the Security+ in the previous week. I currently hold certifications in ISC2's Certified in Cybersecurity and the GIAC Foundational Cybersecurity Technologies (GFACT). Pursuing the Network+, CySA+, and SSCP next. Cheers!

Hey Nicole, To keep track, I decided to make a new IG page to put all of my work and maybe like to get on KZbin too but my issue is I can’t pass the sec+:( I failed it twice. If I can’t pass this, how am I going to pass the ones above it :(

have you done any projects for the SEC+ to reinforce concepts? What about BOSON Q&As? They are really good at explaining right and wrong answers
